It seems to make a lot of sense for companies like Burger King to accept Bitcoin payments, as this is a global payment method that removes any friction associated with credit cards or foreign currency exchange. However, such a decision will not be made easily, and the Arnhem location is the first Burger King restaurant to experiment with Bitcoin.

Eine Frage.

Immer wieder lese ich davon das die eine oder andere große Marke, wie zB IBM, an einer eigenen Blockchain Lösung arbeiten.

Was ich hierdran nicht ganz verstehe.

Die Blockchain funktioniert doch nur wegen Millionen unabhängigen Nutzern die Ihre Rechner Kapazität zur Verfügung stellen und dem Bitcoin der als Zahlungsmittel also als eine Art Vene der Blockchain fungiert.

Wie soll hier eine interne Lösung funktionieren können?

Mir ergibt es einfach keinen Sinn eine eigene Blockchain aufbauen zu wollen.

Hab ich was übersehen?  

weil die Daten in dem privaten Blockchain, privat sind und nicht einsehbar.
Aber eine weltweite Zahlung zwischen verschiedenen Clients um die Welt ist nicht möglich.
Also muss diese private Blockchain als Sidechain an den Bitcoin Blockchain gekoppelt werden.
Das könnte via Blockstream funktionieren.

Frage zu der Sidechain...

Sagen wir mal ich möchte über eine Sidechain etwas verschicken. Benötige ich dann auch eine kleine Anzahl an Bitcoins um anfallende Gebühren zu zahlen? Oder geht dies auch ohne obwohl ich gewisserweise an die Bitcoin-Blockchain gekoppelt bin?  

Was mich auch interessiert ist die bekannte Frage bezüglich der Versteuerung in der Schweiz...finde bei Google leider keine klare Antwort. Und wenn ja...muss nur der Gewinn versteuert werden oder der aktuelle Wert?

Das Spekulationsgewinne bei einem Verkauf von Bitcoins nach einer einjährigen Haltefrist steuerfrei sein sollen..

Aber mal ehrlich - Wayne interessierts.. spekulierst wohl kaum mit Millionen.. Und der Barkauf/Verkauf stellt in der Schweiz wohl ja auch kein Problem dar..

Das mit der Haltefrist von 1 Jahr habe ich bisher nur aus Deutschland gehört.

Die Behörden scheinen noch arg überfordert zu sein...bitcoin? Kann man das essen?

Es gibt hier diverse Berichte über RANSOMWARE wobei die Software von Krankenhäusern betroffen worden sei; verbunden mit einer Forderung zur Überweisung in BITCOIN und dem Versprechen, nach Bezahlung die von dem Trojaner verschlüsselten Dateien wieder zu entschlüsseln. Wir haben einen Kunden, dessen Computerkasse ebenfalls derart infiziert wurde. Nach einigen vergeblichen Versuchen das Problem zu beheben, "lösten" wir letztendlich das Problem, indem wir die Festplatte formatierten und das System neu aufsetzten. Fazit: nicht nur Krankenhäuser werden angegriffen. Vorsicht!  Plötzlich lassen sich ganz viele Dateien einfach nicht mehr öffnen.

Und so sah die Meldung der Erpresser auf dem betroffenen PC aus:
