Addiko Bank also offers banking services in Slovenia through the Viber Communications Platform, which allows the establishment of the most common banking activities, such as payment of invoices and payment orders.
Addiko Chat Banking is the first type of Slovenian, one of the region's and world's best, said Slovenian Addiko Bank and Rakuten Viber representatives. In addition, the Addiko Group offers four markets in its presence.
"A few years ago we published our software interfaces (API) and start searching for interested partners. At that time, we did not know which sector would be the most responsive, but one of the events in the demonstration began to speak with the group Addiko, and now we are in five countries, "said Rakuten Viber Partner Partner, Momčil Elenkov, a natural alliance – in the direction of digitalization and for us in the direction of new market opportunities ".

Study shows audiobooks have become a convenient alternative to print and ebooks
CLEVELAND, April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- A study released today by Rakuten OverDrive, the leading digital reading platform for libraries worldwide, reveals that technology has helped Americans find more opportunities to consume books. The shift towards digital content has allowed readers to continue to enjoy books anytime, anywhere on any device – even despite constant demands for attention from the outside world. The study found that over the past year, 43 percent of respondents have read ebooks and 34 percent of respondents have listened to audiobooks – and 87 percent of those respondents are consuming audiobooks while doing other activities.
The study found that more than 33 percentage of audiobook listeners borrow e-audiobooks from libraries and most do so because it's cost-effective, they like to support their local library and digital reading apps allow them to borrow books at any time.

“We feel it is too early to be investing into a mobile network operator success, so we maintain our cautious view,” Oliver Matthew and Shinji Yoshida, Tokyo-based analysts at CLSA, wrote in a report in February. CLSA forecasts Rakuten’s net profit will drop 59% to 58.9 billion yen in 2019 and fall another 38% to 36.4 billion yen next year because of mobile capital outlays and separate costs for improving its e-commerce logistics. The brokerage expects Rakuten’s mobile service to incur losses through at least the next three years.“

To calculate a total addressable market, we look for reasons to believe companies can sustainably grow revenue over the long term. We are already seeing early evidence ridesharing companies are expanding into adjacent “human and non-human mobility” markets, including food delivery, short-term rental cars, complementing or supplementing public transportation, lastmile delivery services, and long-haul or freight/ground delivery services.

Singapore-headquartered Coda Payments has been profitable for around a year and a half. Limes says that the company’s revenues more than doubled in 2018 and have increased by 40 times since 2015. Transaction processing volume soared by more than 150 percent in 2018 as well.
The latest fundraise was a series A round in 2016 from GMO Global Payment Fund, Golden Gate Ventures, Rakuten Ventures, CyberAgent Ventures, and Skype co-founder Toivo Annus. While Coda has no plans to fundraise at the moment, it’s seeking potential acquisitions to expand its business. “We are open to the idea and on the lookout for potential candidates,” says Limes.
