Da haben wir unsere guten News für heute - und was für welche!!!!: Windows Phone ist das zweit populärste OS in Latein Amerika, mit Marktanteilen teilweise von über 25%!!!!!!!!!!!! Ziel für Ende 2013: Nr1 in Lateinamerika anscheinend früher zu erreichen.


Windows Phone is second most widely used mobile OS in Latin America: IDC

t looks like Windows Phone has been able to capture the Latin American market, becoming the second most widely used operating system in the region.

Research firm IDC has released its Mobile Phone Tracker report that notes that Windows Phone has been ranked second in Mexico, Colombia and Peru in the second quarter of 2013. The platform has been ranked second in Mexico for the second consecutive quarter.

As per the report, Colombia is one of the countries with the highest user preference ratings for Windows Phone, with 25.6 percent of the market share being dominated by the platform.

In other countries, including Argentina, Chile and Brazil, Microsoft's mobile platform has also grown in popularity, ranking third in the second quarter of 2013, as per the IDC report.

"Reports show an important increase in the positioning of this operating system in Latin America. The market availability of new devices will be a factor in ensuring this trend endures over the next three months," said Oliver Flores, regional manager for Mobile Phones at IDC Latin America.

Liliana Gonzalez, director of the Windows Phone Division for Latin America, stated that "during this year's Mobile World Congress, we set ourselves the goal of being the second most widely used mobile platform in Latin America by the end of 2013, and we are overjoyed to be able to announce that these reports show that we have achieved this five months before the end of the year." She also commented that, "We will continue working alongside Nokia to offer more and more people in Latin America the holistic experience which Windows Phone has for them, in order to offer a more personalised smartphone which is the best for the Windows environment and the best hardware for people and companies."

Hey zusammen,

gibt wieder etwas cooles zu vermelden! Delta Airlines stattet mehr als 19.000 Bedienstete mit einem Lumia 820 aus! Das soll wohl auf Flügen auch für den Bezahlservice eingesetzt werden. Für mich ist das ein dickes Ausrufezeichen und ein interessantes Modell mit einem großen Geschäftskunden. :)

Was Lumia/MS & das DAX Unternehmen angeht, warten wir`s ab.... Zur Zeit ist noch Blackberry in Betrieb.... :-) So eine Umstellung geht nicht so schnell.
Eines ist sicher: Blackberry verliert bei den Unternehmen....

Ich habe mir einfach überlegt warum ich mir die Nokia ins Depot gelegt habe.
Da ich davon noch immer überzeugt bin, bleibt sie da!

Auch wenn NSN das beste Angebot gemacht hat, ist es ja nicht wirklich überraschend, dass die Chinesen die größten Aufträge an ZTE und Huawei geben. Wäre ja auch zu schön gewesen....

Ist natürlich schon komisch. Da macht NSN das beste Angebot und das schlechteste gewinnt dann trotzdem die Ausschreibung.

Da spielt sicher die Politik eine Rolle, mglw. Rache für die Sperre von Huawei in den USA und England.    

 Ubd wieso will man nokia dafür bestrafen ? Nokia ist weder aus den usa odee gb !
