Kansas City Chiefs, winner 2020 spielt in der American Football Conference (AFC)
kommt der Sieger aus der AFC, geht dies fast immer mit fallenden Kursen am Aktienmarkt einher.

So weit so lustig und (un-)zutreffend.

Why the Fed would do this is anyone’s guess. Technically it is engaged in a $60 billion per month QE program. And between this and its various repo programs, its balance sheet had been expanding by $100 billion per month from September up until December of last year.

The Fed chair Jerome Powell was asked about this at his post-FOMC-meeting press conference on September 18th. On money-market problems, he replied “we have the tools to address those pressures. We will not hesitate to use them.” One of those tools is quantitative easing, the Fed conjuring up new money out of thin air and using it to buy bonds. Fed officials euphemistically call this balance-sheet expansion.
On that same question Powell concluded, “we’re going to be assessing, you know, the question of when it will be appropriate to resume the organic growth of our balance sheet. And I’m sure we’ll be revisiting that question during this intermeeting period and certainly at our next meeting.” That was a big hint the first quantitative-easing campaign since QE3 ended in October 2014 was moving towards the launchpad.

While Pure Gold Mining is undervalued and attempting to break out of a large base, I prefer to be buying stocks at support, and at least 30% below fair value. This bakes in a significant margin of safety, and allows me to buy from the lowest-risk entry point. Therefore, while Pure Gold Mining is undoubtedly a Hold here for investors, I am personally watching for a better entry, in the form of a 10% or larger pullback.

Abacus Mining & Exploration ( TSX:AME.V ) is an exploration and mine development company with a 43-101 compliant positive preliminary economic assessment report (June 22, 2009) for its Ajax copper-gold project located 10 km southwest of Kamloops, British Columbia. Sensitivity analyses therein indicate a NPV of $1.46 billion discounted 8% over a 23 year mine life, with an IRR of 35.4%, cash costs of $0.90 per pound copper, and payback of 2.0 years using metal prices approximating US$3.00 per pound copper and US$1,000 per ounce gold. The Ajax extension remains open along strike and at depth. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.

Abcourt Mines ( TSX:ABI.V ; OTCPK:ABMBF ) is an exploration and development company with strategically located properties in northwestern Quebec, Canada. The Elder Mine with 43-101 gold resources, the Abcourt-Barvue Project with 43-101 silver-zinc ore reserves and resources and the Aldermac property with historical copper-zinc resources are all former producers. Abcourt is now focused on bringing the Elder and Abcourt-Barvue projects back into production with Elder as the first priority. At the same time the company is working on other projects (Aldermac, Jonpol and Vendome) to increase its mineral resources inventory. A 43-101 resource calculation was completed in July, 2009, for the Elder Mine. A positive 43-101 feasibility study was completed by GENIVAR in 2007 on the Abcourt-Barvue Project. In addition, mill equipment was purchased.

The “disaggregated” report shows that in the week to Jan. 28, money managers’ net-long position slipped to 219,938 futures contracts from 223,832 the week before. The decline was due to long liquidation, as the number of gross long positions fell by 4,010 and far outpaced a decline of 116 short positions (short covering).

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - February 3, 2020) -  Ely Gold Royalties Inc. (TSXV: ELY) (OTCQB: ELYGF) ("Ely Gold") or the ("Company") and its wholly owned subsidiary, Nevada Select Royalty, Inc ("Nevada Select") are pleased to announce that they have signed a binding term sheet (the "Agreement") for the purchase of seventy-five (75) patented mining claims from Cliff ZZ LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. ("Cliff ZZ"). The patented claims are located in Esmeralda and Nye Counties, Nevada and are known as the Tonopah Extension Claims ("Tonopah Extension"). Nevada Select currently holds 23 patented mining claims and 17 unpatented mining claims contiguous to the Tonopah Extension. Closing of the transaction is subject to TSXV approval and final due diligence by Ely Gold. Closing is expected on or about May 2, 2020.

The Tonopah District
The Tonopah District is an epithermal precious metal deposit of the quartz-adularia type. The quartz-adularia type may be divided into gold-rich and silver-rich subtypes. Tonopah Extension is a prominent example of the silver-rich subtype. Some silver-rich quartz-adularia type deposits have significant base metal content, but Tonopah is relatively base metal poor. The only larger deposit of this type known in the United States is the Comstock Lode, a relatively gold rich deposit, which has greater total production of both gold and silver than Tonopah. The Tonopah District has produced 174 million ounces of silver and 1.86 million ounces of gold.

The Agreement
Under the terms of the Agreement to acquire 100% of the Tonopah Extension, Nevada Select will pay Cliff ZZ $650,000 in cash and issue 600,000 Ely Gold share purchase warrants. Each warrant will be exercisable into one common share at $0.65 for a period of two years. The transaction is subject to TSXV approval and due diligence. Cliff ZZ will not retain any royalties after Closing.

Trey Wasser, President and CEO commented, "This transaction supports our business model of consolidating under-explored districts while generating royalty interests. We consider Tonopah to be one of the best districts in Nevada based on past production and exploration potential."
