I wonder what future is to prefer: the DAX-Future or the Future on Euro Stoxx 50. Any suggestions?
Kind regards,
Shouta
It might depend on your strategy. The volume of the DAX-Future sometimes is a bit paltry. So when you need every tick and therefore hate slippage you should probably prefer the Future on the Euro STOXX50. Especially when your are on king size orders.
On the other hand the full point value of the FDAX is 25 EUR compared to just 10 EUR of the FESX. But respect the half point tick size of the FDAX.
Try bunds. They are great! Big volume, bodacious predictable moves and nice tick-size-to-cost-ratio.
Cheers,
Mike
Thanks for your feedback, I'm already on German bund futures but by now I want to upgrade my trading with an index future. I don't intend to stick with only one market.
Best regards,
Shouta
Thanks on getting back to my inquiry. I'm afraid I'm not on 'king size' orders, so FDAX should be ok by now. Maybe I will start a trail with both of them, switching to the better one later.
Kind regards,
Shouta
