Regulatory News:
Precise Biometrics’ (STO:PREC) product for fingerprint recognition in mobile devices, Precise BioMatch™ Mobile, has through cooperation with Fingerprint Cards (FPC) been integrated in a smartphone from an additional Chinese manufacturer. The integration will generate license revenue starting from the third quarter 2015. The value of license revenue is based on the number of sensors FPC delivers to the mobile phone manufacturer and cannot be forecasted at this point.
”We are pleased to welcome yet another user of Precise BioMatch Mobile. Biometric performance and user experience is dependent on high performance algorithm software. We are confident that they with Precise BioMatch Mobile have found an excellent solution for their new smartphone model“, says Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics.
In a recent market analysis of fingerprint biometrics for mobile devices, Frost & Sullivan praised Precise BioMatch Mobile for providing superior fingerprint authentication for smartphones and tablets. As a result, Precise Biometrics was awarded (http://precisebiometrics.com/news/2015/04/frost-sullivan-awards-leader ...) the “2015 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Leadership in fingerprint biometrics for mobile devices”.
Precise BioMatch Mobile provides easy integration of fingerprint matching functionality for smartphones and tablets, and is optimized for small touch sensors in mobile environments through a unique patented hybrid algorithm. The software offers fast, accurate, and secure verification of the user’s identity, creating a convenient user experience for consumers when unlocking their mobile device or authenticating to services, while delivering enhanced security.

Faszinierend, was "Nachrichten" so ausmachen.
