Phoenix, AZ - 29.März, 2012 - Tombstone Exploration Corporation (OTCBB:TMBXF) (OTCQB:TMBXF) (Frankfurt: A0MK8E) hat heute bekannt gegeben, dass das Unternehmen eine Bewilligung für staatliche Explorationsgenehmigungen für Mineralien erhalten hat, einschließlich Gold, Silber und Kupfer am östlichen Rand des Tombstone Mining Districts. Die zusätzlichen Genehmigungen, wenn bewilligt, schließen 2.163 Morgen in Cochise County, Tombstone, Arizona ein, angrenzend an das zu 100 % unternehmenseigene Zebra-Grundstück über 2.000 Morgen.
Das Zebra Prospekt ist ein epithermisch- verbreitetes Goldgrundstück, welches sich in Cochise County Arizona, ungefähr drei Meilen südöstlich der Stadt Tombstone in T203, R23E, Sektionen 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 32, 33 und 34 befindet. Das Grundstück beläuft sich auf insgesamt 4.163 Morgen und besteht vollkommen aus Staatsland, für welche die Arizona State Prospecting Permits gesichert wurden. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass das Prospektionsgebiet innerhalb der metallogenen Zoneneinteilung Halo des Tombstone Districts liegt. Die oberflächlichen Erze des Zentralbezirks waren bekannt dafür, reich an Silber und niedriger in Gold zu sein. Im umgekehrten Fall und in Übereinstimmung mit Zonenmustern, ist das Zebra-Grundstück reich an Gold und relativ bescheiden in Bezug auf Silberwerte.
Während eines detaillierten Mapping- Programms während der 1980-er Jahre, wurden 33 Proben Jasperoid, Jasperoid-Bresche, Silizium Adermaterial, hämatitisch- veränderter Schluffkalkstein, Dolomit und verkieseltes Rhyolith-Porphyr gesammelt. Sieben dieser Proben ergaben > 0,20 Unzen Gold pro Tonne und weitere drei ergaben > 0,10 Unzen Gold pro Tonne. Die höchste Metallprobe lag bei 1,0268 Unzen Gold pro Tonne gesammelt von einem Aufschluss schwarzer zu roter Jasperoid-Bresche. Diese historischen Metallproben unterstützen vorherige Metallprobedaten von dem Grundstück und deuten auf das Vorhandensein eines großen Bulk-Tonnage Goldvorkommens auf dem Grundstück hin. Geophysikalische Umfragen, welche in den 1980-ern auf dem Grundstück durchgeführt wurden, deuten auch auf die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Gold-Skarn -Vorkommens in der Tiefe hin.

Das Tombstone Exploration Projekt ist ein Explorations- und Entwicklungsprojekts innerhalb des historischen Tombstone Mining Districts, Cochise County, südöstliches Arizona.
