Rakuten wesentlich besser als Rocket
A little more than a month after the first edition of the “Chat with the President”, Jacques-Henri Eyraud again played a question-and-answer game with OM supporters coming from Tunisia (Bessem), Canada (Khalil), Switzerland (Nicolas) and France (Cédric and Baptiste). They asked the Marseille president questions ranging throughout many topics for nearly 45 minutes.

KGV = 42,6
KGV = 11,1
Profitable
Over the course of the past twenty years, the owner and founder Hiroshi Mikitani turned Rakuten, with the help of some 14,000 employees, into a company with a 7.2 billion dollar annual turnover and a 350 million dollar (2017: 110.585 Millionen Yen = 1028 Millionen US.Dollar) profit. An online retailer with profit seems like an anomaly. Nevertheless, a sizeable portion of its profit comes from abroad.

New York, NY — February 22, 2018 — Sprinklr, the most complete social platform for managing customer experiences at scale, today announced its integration with Viber, an application that allows people to make free and secure voice and video calls, one-on-one chats, group messages, and connect with their favorite brands and celebrities. Now, the world’s largest brands can engage with customers on Viber and analyze these interactions directly in Sprinklr, resulting in improved customer service and actionable data to inform business decisions.
The integrated Sprinklr/Viber solution makes it easy for businesses to have efficient, personalized conversations with Viber’s user base – which grew by 20 percent in 2017 to over 900 million registered global users. Viber’s Public Accounts for businesses are already helping more than 20,000 brands communicate with their customers, including major brands. FC Barcelona launched its Viber Public Account in July 2017, the Golden State Warriors made Viber its official messaging and calling app partner in September 2017 and Macy’s is one of a number of brands that relies on Viber’s in-app shopping feature to connect with customers.
Viber’s focus on global communication makes it particularly valuable for large companies that Sprinklr supports. After Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, Viber is the only top-ranked messaging app in over 10 countries and it has a large market share in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia.

Acorns, the financial management service focused on getting low- and middle-income households to invest and save responsibly, has reached 3 million users in the United States.
The company has roughly $800 million in assets under management, with accounts coming from primarily low and middle income customers across all fifty states, according to Acorns co-founder and chief executive Noah Kerner.
Unlike other savings and investment services — like the automated advisory services on offer from Betterment or Wealthfront, or the no-fee stock and cryptocurrency trading service from Robinhood — Acorns is trying to introduce responsible investing principles and savings methods to consumers who have never had the option before.
