weitergeht. Ich glaube an die Fantasie in diesem Wert und hoffe, meine
Portokasse etwas auffüllen zu können. Wie gesagt nur Porto, da hier ja alles

noch nicht mitbekommen hat, dem ist nicht zu helfen... sorry!

es wird heute glaub ich auch nach 20 uhr nichts passieren - die meisten haben sich schon vor tagen/wochen eingedeckt und halten das was sie haben... warten eben auf montag... wird vielleicht noch ein paar einkäufe geben... mal sehen.

bei nortel hat das prinzip des "nach-20-uhr-gehts-los" bisher so gut wie nicht gegriffen... es war bisher eigentlich eher immer so, dass es hier von in der früh bis früher nachmittag nach oben ging, dann bis 16 uhr runter (damit die amis billig reinkommen?) und dann wars einfach zumeist "GÄHN!"

damit konnte man aber ganz gut geld machen, in der früh rein, mittags/früher nachmittag raus, nachmittags/abends wieder rein - so hab ich mein konto aufgebessert und mein depot gefüllt.

Sehr spannend..und ich lasse mich Überraschen. Geändert hat sich bis dato mal nichts. Mehrere 1000% als auch Totalverlust durch ausbuchung möglich. Allerding sind aufgrund der Erlöse aus den Auktionen beachtliche Summen rausgekommen die nicht so einfach zu Ignorieren sind. Sollten die common shares also wertlos ausgebucht werden (Hoffe nicht) könnte sich hier ein zweites Wamu auftun...Bin mir aber was sicher das Nortel aus chapter 11 rauskommt und weitermacht.

Also es könnte eine GM, Vermillion oder Wamu Story werden.

Sind nur meine überlegungen würde mich über eine Meinung von rechtsexperten freuen..

Was müsste heute für eine Meldung kommen, damit der Kurs nach oben geht ?  

Canadische Staat einspringt um die Schulden abzubauen. Nachdem man jetzt
weiss, wieviel die Patente ungefähr wert sind.  

• der staat einspringt, wäre das sehr interessant, allerdings fraglich, wie dann die shareholder behandelt werden - dem staat geht es nicht unbedingt um nortel, sondern vor allem ums gedankengut, die 6000 patente... kann nicht abschätzen, was das für den kurs und uns bedeuten würde...
• nortel selbst genug zusammen hat, wäre das vermutlich noch besser
• wenn die auktion neu gestartet wird, wäre das mir das liebste, weil dann ziemlich sicher ein noch höherer betrag am ende herauskommt
• wenn rauskommt, dass google bereits einen deal mit nortel VOR der auktion hatte und nortel so doppelt kassiert hat, das wäre einfach nur HAHAHA genial gepokert!!
• usw

es gibt einige varianten, die den kurs unheimlich in die höhe treiben könnten.

 Nortel Networks Corp. (NRTLQ) bonds rose to a record amid speculation  holders of the bankrupt company’s debt may recover all their principal  and back interest following a sale of the telecommunications-equipment  maker’s patents.
 
Nortel’s $450 million of 10.75 percent bonds  that mature in July 2016 rose 1.9 cents to 108.9 cents on the dollar,  according to Trace, the bond-price reporting system of the Financial  Industry Regulatory Authority.  
 
That’s the highest close since the Mississauga, Ontario-based-based company sold the debt in January 2008.
 
 Speculation that the proceeds from the $4.5 billion patent sale could  entitle debt holders to both their principal and any interest accrued  since Nortel filed for bankruptcy reorganization in January 2009, may be  lifting the bonds, said Andrew Gottesman, a New York-based vice  president with SecondMarket Inc., a private exchange of illiquid assets  such as bankruptcy debt.
 
“It may mean they’re expecting  something in a bankruptcy case that is atypical,” Gottesman said today  in a telephone interview. “You only get post-petition interest when  there is money for everybody.”
 
The bonds climbed July 1  after Cupertino, California-based Apple Inc. (AAPL) and other technology  industry rivals outbid Google Inc. (GOOG), exceeding investor estimates  for the more than 6,000 patents and applications related to wireless  and Internet technology. Google originally offered $900 million.

(Reuters) - Canadian Industry Minister Christian Paradis said on Thursday that officials in his office are studying whether to formally review a sale of Nortel patents to ensure investment law was properly applied.

A consortium including Apple (AAPL.O), Microsoft (MSFT.O) and Research In Motion (RIM.TO) bid $4.5 billion to buy the thousands of Nortel (NRTLQ.PK) patents in a recent auction. [ID:nNL3E7I10H]

Under the Investment Canada Act, the federal government must review any foreign investment or purchase of Canadian assets worth C$312 million ($325 million) or more. It can reject transactions that do not provide a "net benefit" to Canada.

But while the Nortel patents' sale price clearly exceeded that threshold, their book value is likely far lower and may make a review difficult to justify.

Asked by reporters on a conference call if he had any specific concerns about the investment, Paradis said: "No, the point is just to make sure ... that we are compliant with the law."

Paradis declined to provide a timeline on when the ministry would decide if it will review the purchase, citing legal restrictions. He also did not say if the consortium members had sought approval.

das würde doch bedeuten, dass die gestellten forderungen untern tisch fallen, so lange bis alle anderen bezahlt wurden - somit auch wir, die aktionäre?? kann diese annahme jemand bestätigen? mein "rechtverstand", vor allem wenn ich das ausm englischen ableiten muss, ist sich da grad nicht sicher...
