Das entspricht ja in etwa auch meinen Schätzungen für Local.com - allerdings dem unteren Ende der Schätzspanne. Die momentane Marktkapitalsierung sind dagegen idiotisch niedrige 43 Millionen.

Nach Tests auf anderen Threads komme ich zu dem Schluss "sehr seltsam".

About.com gefällt mir vom Design her spontan recht gut. Local sollte endlich mal wieder die Flagship Site überarbeiten und verbessern. Der letzte Design-Schub ging zwar in die richtige Richtung und war ein großer Fortschritt. Aber das ist fast 2 Jahre her und das Ergebnis war damals in vielen Details noch nicht wirklich rund.
Warum zum Teufel integriert man eigentlich nicht Spreebird? Jetzt mit dem Schwerpunkt auf nationale Deals würde das doch gut passen und könnte für die Spreebird-Umsätze einen starken Schub bewirken. Könnte die daran bereits arbeiten? Wenn nicht - ich würde es nicht verstehen.
About.com hat mehr User, aber die Anzahl stagniert bzw. fällt sogar. Die Frage ist, wie viel Prozent davon ist organisch/anorganisch. Das muss man beim Vergleich mit local.com berücksichtigen.

Auf jeden Fall sieht der langjährige Google-Trends-Verlauf von local.com wirklich sehr gut. So stabil sollte sich mal der Kurs entwickeln. Aber leider zeigt Google Trends nicht die Earnings.
Local strapaziert die Geduld schon arg.
Das Design scheint m.E. doch sehr gut anzukommen, denn sonst wären gerade die Steigerungen auf der Flagship-Seite nicht erklärbar, die über längere Zeiträum alle Konkurrenten mehr oder weniger ausstechen. Ich gehe einmal davon aus, dass gerade die Soccer-Moms diesen teilweisen "Patchwork"-Aufbau, der manchem Logiker verschwommen vorkommt, gerade lieben.
Bei Spreebird blicke ich auch nicht so richtig durch, aber ich denke, dass die Deal-Seite auf der Flagshipseite sehr viel höhere Umsätze abwirft als die vielleicht 1,5 Millionen von Spreebird, die ca. 1,3% des Gesamtumsatzes ausmachen. Und noch wichtiger ist, dass obwohl man vermutlich nur geringe Durchleitungsgebühren bekommt, die Deal-Geschäfte auf der Flagshipseite keine Infratrukturkosten verursachen, da Dealmap, Saving.com, Coupon.com usw. die Geschäfte abwickeln. Der Aufbau einer Deal-Struktur, die selbst abwickelt, ist aber sehr teuer - und andere Investitionen scheinen rentabler zu sein.
Und noch zu About.com: Das mit organisch/anorganisch ist sicher richtig (allerdings kenen wir die Quote bei About.com nicht) - aber nicht ein Ausgleich mit dem Faktor 8, denn so niedrig ist bei Local.com die organische Quote nun auch wieder nicht. Und selbst bei Unternehmen mit hohen organischen Quoten fallen oft hohe Werbekosten an, sodass für mich eher die Quote zählt, die sich aus den cost of revenues und den Werbekosten ergibt.

Vor diesem Hintergrund ist daher der achfache Kaufpreisl der Marktkapitalsierung von Locla.com absurd oder die Marktkapitaliserung von Local.com, wobei nach meiner Einrschätzung letzteres zutrifft.

Produkte gebucht, wobei der Umsatz mit den Kunden, die das taten, nur ca. 10% der Umsatze mit Exact Match-Kunden erreicht, allerdings war die Zahl um ein großes Vielfaches höher.
