Everfuel continues to execute its strategy of making green hydrogen for zero
emission mobility commercially available across Europe and maintains high
activity in engaging with partners, customers and authorities across the entire
green hydrogen value chain from production to distribution and fueling stations.
To date in 2021, the company has focused on developing Scandinavian hydrogen
(H2) fueling network plan, maturing new and existing partnerships led by the
cooperation with Hydro on industrial scale hydrogen production, progressing the
HySynergy electrolyser projects and executing the organizational build-up to
drive long-term growth. All are key elements of developing Everfuel's position
as a leading European provider of safe, stable and cost-efficient green hydrogen
to end-users through competitive all-inclusive hydrogen supply- and fueling
solutions supported by data driven optimization.
"Our ambition is to be a driving force for transition to zero emission transport
in Europe by establishing value chains for safe and efficient production,
distribution and fueling of green hydrogen. Initially, we are scaling our
business in the Scandinavian home market and focusing on development projects in
Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The increase in activity is supported by a
fast growing Everfuel organization. We have year-to-date added 18 employees
across all disciplines. We experience great interest from highly qualified
individuals who want to become Everfuellers and help scale our company and
execute our long-term plan for growth and value creation," said Jacob
Krogsgaard, the founder and CEO of Everfuel.
Everfuel had total revenue, representing sale of hydrogen and other operating
revenue, of EUR 191,000 in Q1 2021. EBITDA was negative EUR 1 million,
reflecting significant ramp-up of activity and organization during the period.
The financial results reflect that the company is still in the initial stages of
commercializing the green hydrogen value chain in its target markets.
Total assets at 31 March 2021 amounted to EUR 85.9 million, compared to EUR 27.1
million at 31 December 2020, of which cash holdings were EUR 79.2 million (EUR
23.4 million). Total equity amounted to EUR 83.8 million (EUR 25.7 million).
Changes from year-end 2020 predominantly reflected net proceeds of NOK 600/EUR
58.5 million from the private placement in January 2021 and investments made
through the period.

Herning, Denmark, 13 July 2021 - Everfuel Sweden AB, a fully owned subsidiary of
Everfuel A/S and OKQ8 have entered into a cooperation agreement for joint
development of the green hydrogen market in Sweden by establishing a network of
H2 stations for zero-emission mobility in connection with existing and new OKQ8
service stations.
The hydrogen station network will target prime locations for intensive and heavy
-duty customers, but it will also be open for passenger vehicles. The network
will initially cover the larger cities and transport corridors between
Stockholm, Malmoe and Gothenburg. The ambition is for the collaboration to kick
-off the roll-out of green hydrogen in Sweden and enable customers to transition
from fossil to green fuels. OKQ8 is a leading Swedish fuel company with more
than 400 service stations and Everfuel is expanding its European production,
distribution and network of hydrogen fueling stations.
"We need strong partners like OKQ8 to drive transition to zero-emission
mobility. Their leading position in Sweden and extensive service station network
is highly complementary to our expertise in safe and efficient production,
distribution and filling of green hydrogen to end-users," says Jacob Krogsgaard,
the CEO of Everfuel. "Our cooperation will increase the availability of green
hydrogen as a fuel for mobility, which is a prerequisite for a decarbonized
society."
"We want to help all our customers transition and hydrogen represents an
exciting future alternative and is an important step for Sweden to reach its
climate objectives. A strong partnership is required to enable development of
the hydrogen market in Sweden and Everfuel has extensive knowledge and
experience within this area," says Karin Hellgren, Head of Communications of
OKQ8.
Everfuel will be responsible for operating the H2 stations at each site and
supply the green hydrogen. The parties share the ambition to have 10 joint sites
in operation by 2024 and will jointly develop lead customers to enable
establishment of each station. The parties are at an advanced stage at several
locations and will provide further information as the roll-out progresses.
The cooperation with OKQ8 follows Everfuel's H2 station roll-out ambition for
Sweden, announced this April, targeting up to 15 strategically positioned
fueling sites in Sweden by end of 2023, many of which are expected to be located
with OKQ8. The Swedish network is part of the company's Scandinavian fueling
strategy for trucks, buses and cars connecting the main traffic corridors in
Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Mag sein, dass die Stimmung in dieser Branche im Spätherbst besser wird........doch erst mal ist ein Aderlass angesagt! Die Bewertung ist einfach zu luftig!
Herning, Denmark, 12 August 2021 – Everfuel A/S is pleased to announce that it has received the building permit for the HySynergy Phase I electrolyzer in Fredericia, Denmark, and the selection of CJ A/S as contractor.
The HySynergy development will establish large-scale production and storage of green hydrogen and contribute to reducing CO2-emissions in Europe. The facility will have a production capacity of about 8 tons per day of green hydrogen, made from renewable power, and 10 tons of storage capacity. Everfuel is responsible for the EPC-work (engineering, procurement and construction), including hydrogen storage and distribution facilities. Phase I of HySynergy is expected to be in operation by mid-2022 and will at that time be the largest electrolyzer in Europe.
”The building permit takes us one step closer to reducing CO2-emmissions and supporting the green transition through industrial-scale production of green hydrogen. In Everfuel we are leading the green transition – we are taking the challenging steps and moving from drawing board to reality. Starting construction of the largest electrolyzer in Europe is a significant step for Everfuel, but our ambitions are much beyond the 20MW electrolyzer in Phase I, as we are already now advanced in the planning of 300 MW in Phase II. We look forward to the cooperation with an experienced contractor such as CJ, which will be instrumental for building a facility the size of HySynergy on time and budget” says Jacob Krogsgaard, the CEO of Everfuel.
Highly experienced contractor CJ has significant expertise and extensive experience in large-scale construction of both fueling facilities, industrial facilities, and refineries. “We are very pleased with the trust Everfuel shows in CJ by letting us take the lead of such an important initiative to make the green transition happen. We look forward to the cooperation and project launch with both respect for the task at hand and the confidence to execute it by putting all our professional skills to good use” says Jonathan Smetana, the CEO of CJ A/S.
Cutting the first sod
Everfuel and Crossbridge Energy, the partner owning the adjacent Fredericia refinery, will host a sod-turning ceremony on Wednesday 18 August 2021 at the construction site to mark the official start of construction for the HySynergy Phase I electrolyzer.
Niemand weiss ( oder doch?), was dort abgeht.
