Trading Bougainville Copper (ADRs) 867948

Hauptsache ist, dass überhaupt gekauft wird!  

Also, bei diesen Kaufvolumina kann ich leider nicht mithalten. Ich habe "nur" 10k diese Woche gekauft. Mehr geht leider nicht mehr.

Schitney kann ich nur cfds handeln.muss die Käufe über frafu abwickeln .

wieso kannst du in Sydney nur CFDS handeln? Das verstehe ich nicht!!
Ich kann doch von Ö aus auch in Sydney ordern. Die SPesen sind halt ein bißchen höher

A LEADING businessman has thrown his support behind moves to reopen the Bougainville mine, saying this is the way forward to rebuild the crisis-torn region.

Kandaso Napi, who became the first national to be awarded a freight forwarding contract by Bougainville Copper Limited when the mine was operating at its peak, said the Government, Rio Tinto and the landowners need to work together to make sure the mine is reopened. (...)

Mr Napi said the Panguna mine laid the foundation for the growth of PNG when this country became independent in 1975 and the people of this country owe it to the people to Bougainville to make sure they rebuild their lives. “The traditional cash crops on Bougainville were abandoned and being rehabilitated only recently. The Autonomous Region of Bougainville needs all the money it can get to rebuild the place and the lives of its people,” Mr Napi said.
He said BCL or Rio Tinto should not shoulder the blame alone for what has happened and all parties should strive to find a way forward.

The so called temporary headquater of the Autonomous region of Bougainville, Buka Town is now a powerless town since the PNG POWER'S generator developed engine trouble last weekend.

And their small standbye gen sets cannot meet the demand for electricity by Buka's other mini towns of Kokopau, Sohano,Kubu and Hutjena and not forgeting villages getting power under the rural electricity program.

Their so called load shedding does not even cover the backstreets as we have been without power since yesterday..now going into 48hrs without power.

And two local radio stations completly out of service the entire population is also in the dark.
As darkness falls we are totaly hopeless till the next morning.

So ein Treffen wäre schon was!

Muss ja nicht gleich ein Hummer-Buffet über den Wolken sein.

Etwas ganz Normales täte es auch, wobei ich Zweifel habe, dass das dann auch passieren wird.

In der Tat bin ich auch ein bissel positioniert (genügend wenn der bigbocbang losgeht).  

.............bietet sich zur Mineneröffnung an.Ein Besuch der HV in POM mit anschliessendem Trip nach Bougainville bei dem man das "Unexpected" mal hautnah miterleben kann. ;-)))))))))))))

Wer so lange bei der Stange geblieben ist kann sich dann (nach dem BIGBOCBANG) dort gleich nach einem Feriendomizil/Altersruhesitz/Ueberwinterungsquartier umsehen.Die Tauchgründe um Bougainville sind wunderschön und stehen denen im australischen Great Barrier Reef in nichts nach.Leo Hannett, der Ex-Präsident von Boug. besitzt 10 Bootsminuten vor Arawa eine wunderschöne Privatinsel auf welcher er ein Tourismusprojekt geplant hat.Gedacht ist an ein Resort im Stil des Safaricamp auf den Galapagos Inseln.Avis aux Amateurs ;-)))

ABG President chief JOHN MOMIS is happy that the new national leadership under Prime Minister PETER O'NEIL was able to respond positively to Bougainville's
Case after meeting with them last weekend.
President MOMIS made these remarks at the Buka aiport this afternoon after returning from PORT MORESBY with his delegation which included the Vice President, PATRICK NISIRA,Finance Minister, ALBERT PUNGHAU, Planner, LESLIE TSERAHA and the Chief Administrator,LAWRENCE DISIN.

ABG President said that meetings with the Acting Prime Minister, LEO DION,Public service minister,DR.PUKA TEMU,TREASURER,DON POLYE and the chief secretary
Were very promising.He said that the long awaited ONE HUNDRED MILLION KINA and including the FIFTEEN MILLION KINA Reconstruction funds for last year and this year were also approved.

President MOMIS will make other announcements at a press conference on Monday. Pictured is President Momis welcomed at the Buka airport this afternoon.
