Just talked to Tim Clemensen. I wanted to find out about the price of the test kits. He said the pricing has not been determined yet for each country but the range is anywhere from $1.00 to $5.00, depending on the location. He said in Africa the kit can't be any higher than $2.00. In America the kit might be priced around $5.00 for the OTC deluxe package.
Profits for each kit could range from 50% to 80% (depends on location of sales)
Possible CDC sales end of 3rd qtr.
Possible intrenational sales of rapid end of 4th qtr.
He has high regard for Dr. George.
Der Preis spricht für Caly!!

Blair Renews Pledge to Tackle AIDS
LONDON (AP) -- Prime Minister Tony Blair has pledged to combat AIDS in developing countries, including $280.5 million for children left orphaned by the disease.
"Ignoring the issue of AIDS is simply not an option," said Blair, who was expected to meet Tuesday with some 20 AIDS victims from Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
The British government has promised to spend $2.8 billion over the next three years tackling the pandemic.
Government officials said Blair and International Development Secretary Hilary Benn would detail Tuesday how that money will be spent. It will include doubling to more than $280.5 million Britain's contribution over three years to the U.N.-sponsored global fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
"This is a tragedy that spans personal and global scales," Blair said. "It is appalling that life expectancy in some of the worst-affected areas is falling back to pre-1950 levels. This is not just about millions of personal and family tragedies, appalling though these are.
"Already fragile economies are seeing their working-age population destroyed. Quite simply you cannot hope to tackle poverty on a global scale without addressing AIDS."

Sales results on this field.
The Future here is on The Rapid Tests.
The rapid Manufacturing Internationally will put us ahead of the competition NO QUESTION.
In addition to AIDS we will also be saleing other test products. As for the price of the stock, imo we will see 4-8 dlls once we crank up the manufacturing and sales.
Orasure is currently over 7 and their products dont begin to compare with ours once we are under full production capacity.
Please remember that Dr George was working for O prior tu joining C and has significant expertise on this field. His experience working for CDC -the center for disease control- the preeminent Center in the World should give ample credibility to the work currently being done by CYPT.
We should allready be at a higher pps were it not for some credibility issues.
CRANK IT UP CYPT.!!! enough is enough.

ABOUT CALYPTE BIOMEDICAL:
Calypte Biomedical Corporation, headquartered in Pleasanton, California,
is a public healthcare company dedicated to the development and
commercialization of in vitro diagnostic tests, primarily for the detection of
antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), and other sexually
transmitted and infectious diseases. Calypte's currently marketed laboratory-
based tests include an enzyme immunoassay (EIA) HIV-1 antibody screening test
and an HIV-1 antibody western blot supplemental test, the only two FDA-
approved HIV-1 antibody tests for use on urine samples, as well as an FDA-
approved serum HIV-1 antibody western blot supplemental test. Calypte is
actively engaged in developing new test products for the rapid detection of
HIV and other infectious diseases. Calypte believes that there is a
significant need for rapid detection of such diseases globally to control
their proliferation, particularly in lesser-developed countries, which lack
the medical infrastructure to support laboratory-based testing. Calypte
believes that testing for HIV and other infectious diseases may make important
contributions to public health.
