Steht eigentlich noch das Gespräch zwischen den ESBC und Rio Tinto mitte September??

Es wäre ein großer Schritt wenn dieses korrupte Schw.... endlich verschwindet.

 

Ich zweifle daran, dass mit dem "Verschwinden dieses korrupten Schw...." , dieses Übel ein Ende hätte.

Nur ganz nebenbei: Vergleiche zu Gaddafi  und anderen tun sich auf, denn auch der Somare-Clan, seine Kinder, wer auch immer wurde bis vor kurzem von so manch einem noch hofiert ...

PNG steht bezüglich Korruption zwar nicht allein auf weiter Flur, ist aber wohl gesamtgesellschaftlich - wenn es eine Gesamtgesellschaft dort überhaupt gibt - ein Extrembeispiel dafür, dass man nach dem Verschwinden einer einzigen korrupten Person bzw. eines einzigen korrupten Clans keineswegs von bereinigten Verhältnissen ausgehen kann.

Dazu dies von vorgestern ...

Nach der  Übertragung der Miningpower u. der BCL Shares  an Bougainville (idealerweise beim nächsten JSB Meeting ) tritt dann die Korruptheit der PNG Politiker für uns als Investierte etwas in den Hintergrund.

Ja, danach stünden die Chancen besser, aber bis beides wirksam übertragen ist, wird es noch lange dauern, befürchte ich. Ich glaube, ich gewinne eher nen 6er mit Superzahl im Lotto, als dass die Mining-Power beim nächsten JSB übertragen werden. Und ich spiele im Moment kein Lotto....... Wenn man mal ein BCL-Invest nicht als Zockerei/Lotteriespiel bezeichnen mag. ;-)  

na du warst ja auch schon mal besser drauf, ich hoffe nicht das sie dich raus getrieben haben, ist alles nur Marktspielerei Ich werde mit BOC in Rente gehen,und ein paar Jährchen habe ich noch vor mir(leider).

da wird BOC nur mit 0,67 bewertet, obwohl schlusskurs in FFM 0,77 waren.
uns umsatz in Stuttgart = 0.
das hat konsequenzen für den beleihungswert.
der ist nämlich niedriger.
und wenn man short ist, dann macht das auch einen großen unterschied...
wieso machen die so etwas?
nach den mannheimer recherchen konnte ich beliebig limits einstellen, was vorher nicht ging.
was macht mannheim?
was macht frau delagarde?
hat jemand info?
wieso steigt der kurs um 22%
die stückzahlen hatten wir auch schon vorher?  

bewertet im übrigen auch nicht mit schlusskurs 0,98
sondern mit 0,925 AUD...

Ich stimme Dir zu und fürchte, Du hast Recht. Nekro ist eben ein unverbesserlicher Optimist ;-)))

... allerdings schreibt er auch "idealerweise" - wahrscheinlich wohl wissend, dass "ideal" eine philosophische Norm ist, die nie erreicht wird ...

 

0,925 AUD ist korrekt, wenn man die nachbörslichen Transaktionen außen vor lässt.

 

sind aber auch nur wieder ein Versuch gewesen den Kurs wieder zu drücken, mit ganzen 270 Stück.

Das mit der "BOC-Rente" sehe ich genauso wie Du. Ich bin schon seit vielen Jahren mit einer ansehnlichen Aktienanzahl investiert und übe mich einfach in Geduld. Bei mir sind es wie bei Dir auch noch einige Jährchen bis zur Rente, von daher gibt es für mich an sich keinen Grund zur Eile. Das investierte Geld benötige ich momentan überhaupt nicht und wenn es dann endlich (!) irgendwann losgeht, dann freue ich mich einfach!
Natürlich würde ich mich noch viel mehr freuen, wenn es zeitnah (!) substantielle Fortschritte vor Ort gäbe. Aber so wie ich die Mentalität "dort unten" einschätze, darf auch nichts überstürzt werden. Wie nekro immer so schön schreibt ist im "land of the unexpected" alles und nichts möglich. Warten wir die weitere Entwicklung einfach ab. Es bleibt uns ja auch nichts anderes übrig. Die Perspektiven sind definitiv hervorragend!

Es muß ja kein Porsche sein. Es gibt viele andere tolle Autos aus denen man auch im "hohen" Alter ohne Probleme aussteigen kann ;-).

................ of the very positive outlook for copper than what the CEO of Rio Tinto Tom Albanese says; ?Copper is the only metal I see where prices in the intermediate and long term are well above the marginal cost of production.?

Even while Rio is counted among the world?s four leading producers of the metal, Albanese laments the fact that he did not have more copper to sell in this year?s first half. This pining for more of the red metal could see Rio pushing Bougainville Copper, of which it is the majority owner, to reopen Papua New Guinea?s Panguna mine, one of the world?s largest deposits but closed since 1989.

Somare paid over K400,000 in allowances while in hospital

As well as running up a hospital bill of over K750,000, former Prime Minister Michael Somare has been paid K478,756 in overseas travel allowances while lying in bed for five months.

Somare's wife has received K171,825 for her accommodation and allowances and his daughter Betha K192,583.

These figures are revealed in a table of costs prepared by the Prime Minister's Department. The full list of payments is below.

The Pacific Islands Forum and the United Nations have issued a joint statement, agreeing to consider ways of working more closely together.

This follows the UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon’s attendance of the Forum summit in Auckland.

The two sides say they agree on the importance of sustainable economic growth in achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

They say they will aim to achieve this by using the Barbados Programme of Action, the Mauritius Strategy, the Istanbul Programme of Action and the Pacific Plan.

They also noted the value of their co-operation in dealing with conflicts, citing the Papua New Guinea island of Bougainville and Solomons Islands.

Yesterday’s Parliament session saw hundreds (top) turn up showing their support for Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and calling for Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare (below) to quit politics. But little did they know that four hours after, Speaker Jeffery Nape (right) used his discretion to dismiss the founding father for having missed three consecutive Parliament sittings.
