heute meldet man
zum Jahresendeauf 67 Millionen CAD Cash .
die Aktie kam unter Druck kam, weil ein Kunde 9,8 Millionen CAD nicht sofort bezahlte .
Qualität war gut nix zu beanstanden - zahlt dann halt später plus Zinsen.

Im dritten Quartal waren 43,4 Mio. CAD Umsatz (+38% zum Vorquartal) und 10,1 Mio. CAD EBITDA (+31% zum Vorquartal) erzielt worden. Die Brutto-Marge lag bei 34% in Q3 und damit konstant über 30% das gesamte Jahr. Ob nun Abschreibungen vorgenommen werden und inwieweit diese unschöne Sache das rasante Wachstum von MediPharm bremst, bleibt im Statement zu den Jahreszahlen abzuwarten. Unsicherheit mag der Markt nicht, weshalb die Aktie unter Druck kam. Wir warten jedoch die Jahreszahlen ab.  

Sieht hier wer langfristige Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für Medipharm in diesem Segment?  

MediPharm ist ein Unternehmen, das Cannabis- und Hanf-Biomasse nimmt und zu Harzen, Destillaten, Konzentraten und gezielten Cannabinoiden verarbeitet, die zur Herstellung von margenstarken Marihuana-Derivaten verwendet werden, einschließlich angereicherte Lebensmittel, Aufgussgetränke und dermatologische Präparate. Die meisten Kunden von MediPharm haben feste Preis- und Mengenverpflichtungen, was einen sehr vorhersehbaren Cashflow ermöglicht.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass die nahe Zukunft angesichts der zahlreichen regulatorischen Probleme, mit denen die kanadische Marihuana-Industrie zu kämpfen hat, unbefriedigend bleiben wird, aber MediPharm ist ausreichend kapitalisiert, um zu überleben und zu gedeihen.

Die Aktie sollte man jetzt beobachten. Ist schon sehr lange unter dem Radar. Haben weit über 50Mio Cash. Also werden sie wohl als einer der wenigen jede Krise überstehen.

Die Branche hat eine monatelange Konsolidierung hinter sich. Derzeit verstärken sich die Anzeichen, dass die Branche ein Comeback feiern könnte. Die Aussichten zur Behandlung von Corona sorgen für zusätzliche Fantasie.

Der Hersteller von medizinischem Cannabis, hat mit dem Deutschen Pharmariesen STADA ein Lieferabkommen unterzeichnet. Dies kann man durchaus als Durchbruch und Ritterschlag für MediPharm bezeichnen.
Eine Liberalisierung von Cannabis in den USA  könnte neuen Schwung in den an der Börse inzwischen am Boden liegenden Sektor bringen.
