Unter anderem werden Niob und "Rare Earth Minerals" (Seltene Erdminerale) von der USGS für notwendig gehalten. Tantal gehört zu den "Rare Earth Minerals" welches für die Elektronikindustrie für immer kleiner werdende Formate benötigt, z.B. für iPods, Laptops, u.ä.

Wow, the anticipation of tripling known reserves should make Sprott continue snatching up anything and everything that gets offered. Not to mention anyone else who is actually interested in making tons of money.
I also think that some 'talks' have proved fruitful and we're about to see the dawning of a new CCE, bigger and better. This is a BLE in the making, I've thought that from the beginning and now I'm certain. Chris and Dave are going to surprise even the most optimistic, methinks. The next 2 years will be nothing less than fascinating to behold.

So sieht's aus und der Kurs kommt langsam in Fahrt ;-) Vielleicht ist ja was dran an der 3xfachung der NI-konformen Res. .... wir sollten bis Ende des Jahres zwecks scoping oder besser noch pre-feasibility study noch die folgenden NEWS bekommen:

1. BEs aus 07 von Upper Fir (Blue River) und Eldor (nicht zu vergessen)!
2. SGS metallurgische Labordaten!
3. Update auf die RRE's, welche im Sediment gefunden wurden und wo es X-Bohrungen gab.

Also ... während andere schon geschossen haben ist CCE's NEWSflow noch voll geladen!

had a couple of emails wandering what i meant by geopolitical importance on my last post so I will try to clarify it for the people that asked.
Why is cce going to succeed?
They have most certainly proven up the tonnage they need for a mine,
when they release the assay results this will show this, and not to forget they will keep proving up more tonnage next year as well.
They know in my opinion that the results from sgs lakefeild on recovery rates will be stellar however sgs has been dropping the ball in getting the work done. I would beleive they have some prelim results now, and thats just a guess.
The infrastucture they need to put in place for a mine is next to nothing could not have picked a better location.
When the tonnage gets proven will have 10-15 billion in the ground.
When taking a look at the major supplier now i have heard that the
main ore body has already been mined and that the tantalum grading is
getting less and less maybe 5-10 years if that. With the lower recovery rates thier margins are getting thinner and thinner to the point exchange fluctuations and unexpected costs could put them into a
loss position. Few other producers in africa some legal most not are
producing but not near enough to meet any demand if greenbush mine goes down.
Now with that brief background the geopolitical stuff comes into play.
You have the russian, american and chineese remanners of the concentrate, all need legal supplies from legitimate sources. The players in the tantalum industry are desperately looking for new suppliers and according from what went on at the tic in brazil, the only new source of any significants will be commerce.
The russians are really interested in the project, and from what i heard they are desperately trying to get a seat at the cce table.
The chineese want to get in the action but really dont know how yet, and the western producers are being very coy not trying to show i guess their hand at the moment.
The russians and the chineese need a good legit supply of tantalum, for their electronics industry to try and break into the western market with their products, remember the tantalum has to be traced back to a legit source. Russia and china probably have been getting some of their needs illegaly. Rumor also has it that the russian gov is looking for 75 million lbs for a stockpile. The US to my knowledge has very little in its inventory, and they do consider tantalum and niobium a strategic metals. They use it in many uses niobium for armored vehicles and tantalum in weapons, areospace, guidance systems
etc.
It could only be a question of when one of these groups will make a play for commerce to get at the table, by that i mean buying in a block from the market, as i have been told anyone that wants a seat at the table has to buy stock in the market place, how much i dont know 15% or more would be my guess. With some tensions between all three countries it will be intersting to see who jumps in first, they all need the material and they know to some degree, that are no other developments with any significant volumes. If the the chineese or russians jump in first, you will see the americans jump in quickly
dont forget who owns staark the Carlyle group headed by a bunch of retired senior politicians from the US. Future demand Tantalum is just going to get stronger with china russia india and more third world countries try to modernize, along with the adevent of nano tech. Both the canadian and us govs are going to, or maybe do realize how important it is to have a source of this material on this continent.
That is why cce might become one of the most significant mines on the continent. I might be right or maybe wrong i will stick with cce i think it has a great future, and if it did not there would be alot of pump and dump by now. bei diesem wirklich schlechten Marktumfeld zeigt uns doch die Stärke und das Potenzial auf, welches CCE schon erreicht hat. Ich bin überzeugt davon, daß alleine eine Besserung der Großwetterlage den Chart beflügeln wird und die ausstehenden News dafür sorgen werden, daß ich wieder ein paar Geheimnisse vor meiner Frau u. Kindern haben muss, denn teilen möchte ich MEINEN GEWINN wirklich nicht!!!!  

Stehen wir kurz vorm deutlichen Ausbruch übedr 1 EUR?

Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, dass es nun jeden Tag richtig losgehen wird...

CCE wird sich dem negativen Marktumfeld nicht entziehen können. Ich denke das wird heute voll durchlagen. Auch bei anderen Explorern.  

ich weiß schon, Du meinst Sprott und Co. Aber den Spaß konnte ich mir grad nicht verkneifen. Nichts desto trotz finde ich, müßten wir hier schon mal so langsam durchstarten. Wenn ich mir im Gegensatz zu CCE z.B. die Columbia Yukon anschau, die will schon wieder nach oben und kämpft schon wieder mit der 1 Euromarke. TCM brauch ich glaub ich nicht erwähnen, da es bereits eine andere Liga ist, in der sie spielt.
Klar, werden wir wahrscheinlich auch in 1 Jahr über den Kurs von heute lachen, aber ich finde schon, daß unsere CCE zumindest ein wenig mehr Elan zeigen könnte. Aber schaun wa mal.

Ja so ist das, auch aqa kämpft und ist schon wieder runtergekommen wobei die cce meiner Meinung nach stabiler steht-deswegen hab ich heut morgen wie o.gesagt in cce umgeschichtet. Dann schaun mer mal...

manche sind der Meinung das es aus der gegenwärtigen Position ungefähr ein Verdoppler ist. Da ich persönlich mit einem potentionellen Verdoppler (a0etpa) übern Sommer auf die Nase gefallen bin werde ich mich ab 15-20%plus verabschieden und umschichten und so weiter.
Und für den Rest lies bitte weiter oben im Forum(news)

ich war gestern auf der Rohstoffmesse. Hier sind ein paar kurze Infos als Gedächtnisprotokoll:


Upper Fir:
letzte Woche kamen 10 von insgesamt Bohrproben aus dem Labor zurück. Wenn die restlichen Proben auch da sind, werden alle 18 Bohrproben veröffentlicht, was in 3-4 Wochen der Fall sein dürfte.

neue Property noch ohne Namen:
Diese Info wurde laut Dave noch nie veröffentlicht: vor wenigen Wochen wurde im südlichen Randbereich des Blue River Proberty ein vermutlich großes "ultramafic Deposit" mit NI-Pt-PL-Vorkommen per Heli Sampling entdeckt. Laut Dave im Moment noch ein "lottery ticket". Bohrungen im nächsten Frühjahr.

Switch Creek:
magnetische und radiometrische Messungen wurden durchgeführt, vor 2 Wochen wurde mit Probebohrungen begonnen.

Eldor:
im Herbst/Winter wird ein Mess- oder Samplingprogramm (weiss ich nicht mehr genau) per Flugzeug oder Heli durchgeführt.

Dave meinte bald sollte ein guter Newsflow einsetzen.

Brasilienkonferenz: viele Gespräche mit Interessenten. Stand ist nach wie vor kein neues PP durchzuführen. Es gab einen Interessenten, der war sehr "pushy" und Dave gab die Empfehlung sich mit 20 oder 25% am Markt einzudecken, dann könnte er auch ein Mitglied ins Board of Directors entsenden. Laut Dave gab es weder ein Ja noch ein Nein, jedoch begann dieser Interessent sich eingehend nach Details, wie Publizierungsvorschriften bei bestimmten Aktienanteilen etc. zu erkundigen. Auf meine Anmerkung, das bedeute sicher steigende Kurse in Verbindung mit höherer Volatilität, weil dann evtl. auch versucht werde mit Shorten den Kurs zu drücken. Er stimmte mir zu ("that´s market") und meinte, dass in einem solchen Fall (besonders bei SP über 1,45 CAD) Commerce die Empfehlung an Warrantinhaber ausgeben würde, nach Möglichkeit diese Warrants auszuüben, um den Kurs zu stabilisieren.

Es bleibt also spannend.

Naja eigentlich nicht so übel die Aussichten - ab Ende November/Anfang Dezember sollten die NEWS dann aber wirklich rollen!

Interessant ist die Überlegung zu "shorts" ... wollen wir hoffen, dass wir davon verschont bleiben ...

Fraglich belibt allerdings, ob wir bis Weihnachten eine Scoping study bekommen ... für mich hört sihc das eher nach 08 an ????
