Stans Energy heavy rare earth Prod. 2012
;-)
Dear Friends and Shareholders,
Our management team has recently returned from Moscow, where we were honored to sponsor and to attend the REE 2012 International Conference: Geology, Chemistry, Production and Application, hosted by our technical partners VNIIHT – The Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Technology.
Over 200+ world class experts attended the conference where topics covering the full range of upstream and downstream REE technologies were presented. The continuous research of REE technologies that has taken place in Russia and other areas of the former Soviet Union over the past several decades is truly astounding. By harnessing the talent and expertise working at VNIIHT, Stans Energy aims to be one of the leading technological pioneers in new REE technologies and processes moving forward.
Further to our last press release dated October 23rd, Robert Mackay, President and CEO, has conducted several interviews with Tracy Weslosky of Pro-Edge Media. Both of these interviews have been posted to our website and can be viewed by following the link below.
Robert speaks about the technological breakthroughs that VNIIHT has achieved with REE cracking and separation technologies and further comments on the positive political climate that the new Kyrgyz government has established.
Management is now working on a corporate update, for shareholders on the company’s initiatives over the past 6 months.

User "JMinvestor5" beleuchtet auch Aspekte der Zusammenarbeit mit VNIIHT und der Probleme mit der kirgisischen Regierung. Ist lesenswert!
Auszug:
"And.... why do you think Stans is teaming up with the Russian government research institute for chemical technologies (VNIIHT)? Yes they have done great work for us, but rare earths are strategic for Russia's emerging high tech industry, and their national security. If VNIIHT verifies that Kutessay II is a good investment, who do you think will be putting up the money for the project? I think it just makes sense for the Russians to get K2 back in production. I think it's less likely that multinationals from Japan, Korea, China, Germany or the US fund the project. I think this is why Robert and Boris are in Moscow so often. 325 mil is a peanut price for Russian national security. I think that the Kygyz government will think twice about impeding the progress of this project for extortion-like practises if the Russian government has an interest."
