WAVE is already certified by MasterCard and Visa and offers NFC solutions to old models. This is a product that is already available and was just rebroadcast on the heels of the iPhone 6 event.
More importantly, the WAVE devices are in several pilot programs with mobile operators and mass transit providers.
Another item to watch is the fact that On-Track recently terminated its poison pill. The old board of directors had this in place to keep control of the company. With the pill out of the way, On-Track could easily be acquired or become the target of any talks for companies expanding in the NFC or transaction segment. In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a POS leader like NCR (NYSE:NCR) sniff around at a possible deal.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of On Track Innovations (OTIV_) rose 9.21% to $4.15 in morning trading Monday after Apple (AAPL_) announced a record four million pre-orders for the upcoming iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the first 24 hours.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will feature Apple Pay, the company's own version of a mobile wallet. Cashless payment and near field communication (NFC) companies, including On Track Innovations, received a stock boost in the wake of the announcement.
Lull you to sleep
.
the MM's and brokerages have Money and time.. they know that the general investor public has no patience. They will watch and wait just like a shark whom smells blood in the water for John Q. Public to get frustrated and sell OTIV. That's when they come in and take it up... so do yourself a favor if you believe based on the hand writing on the wall that OTIV will grow into a solid stock with a substantially higher PPS while they outfit the world with NFC Readers then BUY/HOLD and Watch..
