So stay long  !

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2004-- GPS Industries Inc. (GPSI), (OTC BB:GPSN - News; Germany: Berlin and Frankfurt WKN#:252179), a leading developer and provider of global positioning (GPS) golf course and sports solutions, announced a partnership with FatPort Corporation, Canada's largest wireless Internet service provider, to introduce Wi-Fi Hotspots to golf courses, golf course residential communities and golf resorts worldwide.

The integrated product will provide secure subscriber authentication and provisioning, secure payment methods and processing, account management, and customer service for GPSI's Wi-Fi InforeZone(TM) service, creating a completely new and substantial revenue stream for golf courses. The companies will also collaborate on new voice-over IP and wireless applications that can be bundled and offered to the golf industry in conjunction with the InforeZone service.

"GPS Industries is a very strong business partner uniquely positioned in a vertical market that FatPort would have had difficulty entering," stated Michael Kuhlmann, FatPort's VP of Business Development, while speaking at the Wi-Fi Power 2004 Conference in Toronto, Canada. "Their distinctive product line, corporate vision and international approach are sure to create a formidable impact in premier golf course locations and resorts worldwide."

"Our Inforemer system creates an instant, fully-featured wireless network on the golf course. By simply extending the coverage beyond the borders of the golf course and seamlessly integrating FatPort's technology, we are able to provide complete golf communities and large-scale resorts with high-speed wireless Internet service."

Dave Hodgson, former General Manager for Mayfair Lakes Golf Club, becomes the newest GPSI distributor as he forms Synergy Golf Solutions in Ontario, Canada. Also a former Director of the British Columbia PGA, Hodgson has more than 24 years of experience, spending six years with Fairmont Chateau Whistler. He was introduced to GPS Industries when Mayfair Lakes purchased the Inforemer system and has since acquired the distribution rights to Ontario and Bermuda. With more than 12 million people, Ontario is home to more than one-third of the Canadian population, boasting more than 650 golf courses.

"As General Manager at Mayfair Lakes Golf Club, I was introduced to Inforemer when we evaluated the system for purchase. I was so impressed by the product, I decided to become a distributor," commented Dave Hodgson, principal of Synergy Golf. "I know Inforemer will become a necessity for golf courses that want to increase the return on their investment, and we are all excited to bring it to Ontario and Bermuda."

"Dave's experience as the General Manager for Mayfair Lakes Golf Club, part of the Golf BC family, has given him the kind of expertise we need on our distribution team," said Blake Ponuick, VP of Sales and Marketing at GPS Industries. "Golf BC is a leading golf management company, with 14 world-class courses in Hawaii and British Columbia, and Dave's experience will be an invaluable asset in providing solutions to golf courses. We are thrilled to have him and his entire team on board."

GPSI previously installed an Inforemer system at Mayfair Lakes and has been utilizing the course as a product acceleration and testing facility. After extensive testing procedures during golf tournaments, day-to-day use, and with the overall user-satisfaction of its golfing public, the product exhibited significant long-term positive results. Now, with testing complete, Mayfair Lakes has purchased the full Inforemer management system with both color cart-mounted and handheld units for its clientele.
