Axia Group Inc. is Awarded New Commercial Housing Project in Sri Lanka
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Axia Group, (Nachrichten) Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AXIG), announced today the award of it first commercial contract for new housing in Sri Lanka. The Company has received a contract for 15 new homes from Noble Wear Pvt. Ltd., a clothing manufacturing company owned by Mr. Sidhath Wettamuni, one of the most famous Cricketeers in Sri Lankan history. The total project is worth about $150,000 and is being completed in conjunction with Axia's Sri Lanka joint venture partner, MicroConstruction, Ltd.
The Project is being executed in the town of Koggala in the Galle District on the southwestern seaboard of Sri Lanka. These fifteen new homes are being built for Nobel Wear workers whose houses were destroyed by the tsunami in 2004. As with previous projects the Company has completed, Axia will train local workers in the deployment of this panel technology and the finishing techniques. Axia estimates that the homes will be completed by April 2006.

Auch ein Jahr, nachdem ein Tsunami ganze Landstriche entlang des Indischen Ozeans verwüstet hat, unterstützt ein von BASF-Mitarbeitern ins Leben gerufener Hilfsfonds – BASF-Katastrophenhilfe e.V. – noch immer eine Reihe von mittel- und langfristig angelegten Hilfsprojekten in den betroffenen Regionen.
Nach der Naturkatastrophe im Dezember 2004 spendeten BASF-Mitarbeiter weltweit rund 1,4 Millionen Euro. Die BASF verdoppelte den Betrag auf 2,8 Millionen Euro und stellte zusätzlich eine Million Euro Soforthilfe zur Verfügung, womit das Unternehmen insgesamt 3,8 Millionen Euro zur Katastrophenhilfe beisteuerte. Die Spendengelder werden von der BASF Katastrophenhilfe e.V. verwaltet, einem eingetragenen unabhängigen Verein. Dieser ist in enger Abstimmung mit den betroffenen Ländern für die Auswahl der Projekte zuständig.
Das Ziel der BASF Katastrophenhilfe e.V. ist es, mittel- und langfristige Projekte mit einer nachhaltigen Wirkung für die lokalen Gemeinden zu unterstützen. "Die Spendenbereitschaft unserer Mitarbeiter war überwältigend. Es ist ermutigend zu sehen, wie diese Spenden in die Praxis umgesetzt werden, etwa in Häuserbau oder Bildungseinrichtungen. Dazu leisten unsere Mitarbeiter vor Ort mit ihrem Engagement einen wesentlichen Beitrag", sagt Dr. Andreas Kreimeyer, Mitglied des Vorstands der BASF und verantwortlich für die Region Asien Pazifik.
Die von der BASF-Katastrophenhilfe e.V. zur Verfügung gestellten Gelder werden für eine Reihe von Projekten in den betroffenen Regionen eingesetzt:
In Indonesien wurden 400.000 Euro für erste Hilfe wie Flüchtlingslager, Nahrung, Schulzelte und medizinische Versorgung zur Verfügung gestellt. Mit einer Spende von 1,1 Millionen Euro unterstützen wir IndogermDirekt beim Aufbau eines Waisenhauses mit integriertem Schulkomplex in Banda Aceh, das bereits 2006 eröffnet werden soll.
Ein Häuserkomplex in der Stadt Mandane an der Ostküste Sri Lankas soll bis April 2006 fertiggestellt werden. Hierfür stellt die BASF zusammen mit der Organisation Habitat for Humanity 700.000 Euro zur Verfügung, um fast 200 Wohnstätten auf einem von der Regierung zur Verfügung gestellten Grundstück zu bauen. In der Stadt Galle, ebenfalls in Sri Lanka, wird gemeinsam mit UN-Habitat, dem Wohn- und Siedlungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen, der Bau eines Fischmarkts finanziert, um dort ansässige Fischerfamilien beim Aufbau einer neuen Existenz zu unterstützen. Zu dem Projekt gehört auch ein Fischrestaurant, in dem Einheimische für eine Tätigkeit in der Tourismusbranche geschult werden.
In Indien unterstützt eine Spende von 200.000 Euro für den Hilfsfonds des indischen Premierministers (PMNRF) die Soforthilfe der Regierung für die Tsunamiopfer. Weitere 120.000 Euro gespendet an die „HOPE foundation“ ermöglichen den Kauf von voll ausgerüsteten Fischerbooten, um den Lebensunterhalt von 90 Fischerfamilien in einem Dorf in Südindien zu sichern. Circa 100.000 Euro werden für die Unterstützung eines anderen Projektes zusammen mit UN-Habitat gespendet, um ein Gemeindezentrum als Vorbild für andere Kommunen zu errichten.
In Thailand kamen die Spenden der BASF zwei Schulprojekten zugute: 100.000 Euro wurden aufgewendet, damit das Thailändische Rote Kreuz eine Schule wieder aufbauen konnte. 150.000 Euro wurden verwendet, um in Baan Thap Lamu in Phang Nga unter der Schirmherrschaft von Prinzessin Maha Chakri Siridhorn eine Schulsporthalle zu errichten.

Die Meldung kam bei den Amis gegen Mittag,
sprich bei uns gegen 18.30 Uhr! Bis sich das
rumgesprochen hat, werden wohl noch ein paar
Stunden vergehen ;-) Nächste Woche sollten
wir Axia dann fair beweret sehen! Und das
will heißen: Mindestens bei 6,00 $ !!!
Denn: Nach dem 2 Mio$ Auftrag war Axia (Split
eingerechnet) fair mit 1,00 Dollar bewertet (= MK 2 Mio$)
Da (fast) alle mit Insolvenz nach dem Delisting von OTCBB
gerechnet haben, ist der Kurs runtergeraucht auf 0,02 Dollar!
Damit war Axia nur noch rund 200.000 DOllar wert!
Nach DIESEM Auftrag hier sollte die Marktkapitalisierung
bei mindestens 12 Mio$ liegen! Also 6,00 $ !!!

Ich sehe du bist der geborene Optimist.
Spekuliere zwar gerne aber von derzeitigen Spekulationen in dieser Größenordnung halte ich nichts.
Aber ich wünsche es uns allen die daran geglaubt haben.
