Local Corp have created a huge opportunity in two areas. One is in programmatic, the other is in mobile search.
We came up with a set of initiatives that we’ve been executing that allow us to leverage the traffic and data we collect about consumers and consumer intentions through our search business, and leverage that programmatically. We’re well on the way to building a programmatic platform. Libudas Umsatzschätzungen sind mal wieder grandios in die Hose gegangen, statt 17 Mio in Q1 nur ca. 13 Mio. Die Umsatzerwartungen von Local für 2015 und Libudas Schätzungen für Umsatz und EBITDA dürften sich damit endgültig in Luft aufgelöst haben. Eigentlich hätte da frühzeitig eine Umsatzwarnung kommen müssen, aber die kam auch schon für Q4 2014 nicht. Die "we belive" Vorstandschaft bei Local ist in meinen Augen ein krimineller Haufen und jeder der die Katastrophenentwicklungen schönmalt ebenso. Ist aber nur meine subjektive Meinung.
Weiterhin bin ich aufgrund der Entwicklungen und der vorgelegten Zahlen der Meinung dass Local im höchsten Grade pleitegefähredet ist. Der Meinung bin ich schon länger und da stand der Kurs noch bei 2$. Aber hier hat es ja weiterhin nur rosa Rosen geregnet. User die aufgrund der, sagen wir es einmal so, "sehr optimistischen" Darstellung hier investiert haben, werden einen Hals haben, der sich gewaschen hat, aber das hatten wir hier ja schön öfters.
First Quarter Results: Mar. 31, 2015 compared to Dec. 31, 2014
First quarter 2015 total revenue was $13.1 million. Network revenue was $4.8 million, compared to $7.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, due to softer performance of the feed business as a result of increased traffic quality filtering and a related decrease in overall traffic. O&O revenue was $8.3 million, compared to $8.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, indicating this line of business has begun to stabilize as the company addressed the fourth quarter changes in traffic sources and editorial requests from ad partners. At this revenue level, gross margin was 12%, net loss was $4.6 million and Adjusted EBITDA* loss was $2.2 million.

Anstatt eine Umsatzwarnung herauszugeben und die eigenen Umsatz- und Ergebniserwartungen für 2015 herunter zu nehmen, kommt so ein Herumgedruckse vom Vorstand.

Jetzt in der katastrophalen Lage in der sich Local befindet, einen Berater an Bord zu holen, ist in meinen Augen der letzte verzweifelte Versuch irgendwie das Steuer noch herum zu reißen. Ich denke schon, dass dieser Zug lukrativ ist, aber nur für den Berater. Der Strohhalm den es für Local gibt, wird dünner und dünner. Ganz weg ist er noch nicht, aber im Moment schaut es eher so aus, als versuchte ein Nilpferd mit einem kleinen Strohhalm eine große Mauer zu überwinden. Ich will nicht ausschließen dass das möglich ist, aber ich habe starke Zweifel … und die wurden mit den Q1 Zahlen noch größer.

Ein solches Desaster beim Umsatz und Ergebnis nur als "nicht berauschend" zu verniedlichen passt zu Libudas Verdrängungsstrategie die Alarmzeichen der letzten 12 Monate konsequent zu ignorieren.

Libuda lass dir sagen dass viele Pleiteunternehmen kurz vor dem Exodus ein gigantisch niedriges KUV hatten.
