...http://www.cleantechaktien.de/2015/04/09/...rmance-trotzdem-vorsicht/

The V112 type turbines, produced by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, have a capacity of 3 Megawatt each. They will be placed on towers which are 62 metres high, which in turn will be placed on top of foundations that extend 17 metres above sea level. The blades have a length of 54 metres.
The development of Eneco Luchterduinen wind farm at a distance of 23 kilometres off the coast between Noordwijk and Zandvoort is a joint project between an energy company Eneco and Mitsubishi Corporation. The 43 wind turbines shall generate green electricity for nearly 150,000 households.

Olcayto Yigit, general manager of Vestas to Turkey said in an interview Turkey's opportunities for renewable investments reduced market uncertainty and helped on the financial front.
Yigit said the feed-in-tariff incentive mechanism is proving to be an encouraging tool for new investors, as it has reduced market uncertainty. In this new context, "Turkey is expected to be one of the largest wind power markets in the short term, with an average market size (with new installations) of 800 MW per year," he said.
Previously, the Global Wind Energy Council, GWEC, had reported that the cumulative capacity is now 3.8 gigawatts, making Turkey one of Europe’s largest wind energy markets.
Nine years ago, Turkey only had 20-30 megawatts, MW, of installed capacity generated from wind energy, but currently it has over 4,000 MW. This is an indication of the serious attempts the country has taken during the last decade to increase wind energy's share in the country.
"Vestas is currently exploring different options to offer our customers and investors the best business case and results in the wind energy sector. We have a long-term commitment to the Turkish market. Our strategy in the country is progressing as planned and we are confident that Vestas’ initiatives for Turkey will respond to the specific needs that will arise as long as the wind industry in the country grows," he added.
- Delays on on-going projects is a problem
Yigit emphasized that despite the growth potential and energy needs complicated bureaucracy results in delays in on-going wind projects.
Turkey’s power demand has significantly increased due to rapid economic growth and a larger population. Being a highly-dependent country on foreign imports, the country has committed itself to an ambitious program which aims to increase its energy independence utilizing renewable resources such as wind energy. In particular, the government has a target of 20GW of installed wind capacity by 2023.

Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems (CPH:VWS) was among the biggest issuers for the past month and quarter thanks to a EUR-500-million (USD 532m) green bond with a 7-year tenor and a 2.75% coupon. The pure-play wind company will use the raised amount for general financing and general corporate purposes. CBI estimates that climate-themed, unlabelled pure play “green” issuers have USD 506.2 billion of bonds outstanding.
“Vestas has led the way by starting to label its bonds as green – other issues can follow suit,” said CBI chief executive and co-founder Sean Kidney.
Another major issuer for the month and Q1 was the Asian Development Bank (ADB)......

The BoDo Installer and Nostag 10 (picured) vessels will begin loading the lines at Nordenham in Germany on May 1 and start laying them at the project site later that month.
Manufacturing of the cables was completed ahead of schedule, said Vattenfall.
Kentish Flats 2 is sited north of Herne Bay off the Kent coast and will feature 15 Vestas V112 3.3MW turbines. Nearly all onshore work has been completed and the project remains on schedule for first power later this year.
The company will install and bury the 25km export cable between the offshore transformer platform and the beach and 32 infield lines between the project’s 32 MHI Vestas 8MW turbines and the offshore transformer platform.
Cable laying vessel Willem de Vlamingh will be used for both jobs, work on which will take place during spring and summer 2016.
The burial of the export cable will be handled by Jan De Nul’s trailing suction hopper dredger and subsea trencher UTV1200 will be used for the trenching of the infield cables.
In March, Dong Energy awarded the export cable installation for the Race Bank offshore wind farm to Jan De Nul Group. http://renews.biz/87383/jan-de-nul-scoops-burbo-2-work/

One result: Indiana could see two or three times as many wind farms as it has now. That would require erecting 2,000 wind turbines to join the 1,031 that now dot the state’s landscape north of Indianapolis. “Indiana has quite a large upside. It has a great opportunity for wind development,” Brady said.
If growth of that magnitude occurs, investment in the state’s wind farms would have to soar from $3.7 billion to more than $10 billion, ...
