Arma Partners’ analysis of Capital IQ data for a sample of 37 public (and predominantly US-listed) SaaS companies shows that, between March and November 2015, their shares traded at an average multiple of 6.24 times their projected revenues for the next 12 months. This represented a more than 50% premium on the corresponding figure for a parallel sample of 47 established and conventional listed software companies. Central to these disproportionately high levels of investor interest were the recurring (hence predictable) nature of these SaaS companies’ revenues and the belief that, upon reaching critical mass and profitability, they would enjoy the higher margins associated with a SaaS business model.

Ellie Mae beispielsweise ist nach KUV, EV/Ebitda und KGV etwa 4 mal so hoch bewertet wie Hypoport.

Was man m.E. nur von einem von drei Bereichen von Hypoport (Europace) ansatzweise sagen kann.

Die Überschneidungen von Ellie Mae sehe ich dagegen mit Actua insbesondere von der Funktionalität sehr viel eher gegeben, alle vier Kernbeteiligungen von Actua stellen über die Cloud wie Ellie Mae Application Software zur Verfügung.

Weil der Umsatz von Actua knapp halb so hoch ist wie der von Elli Mae, habe ich mit der Vervierfachung der Marktkapitalisierung argumentiert, was auf ca. 1,5 Milliarden Marktkapitalisierung bei Actua hinausliefe - und nicht mit 3,1 Milliarden, wie sie jetzt bei Ellie Mae vorliegen.

Spaß beiseite: Sind die Dochte nicht ein bißchen zu schwammig, um die horizontalen Wiederstände zu projektieren? Beim Keil geh ich mit. Dem horizontalen Wiederstand der gebrochen wurde glaub ich erst, wenn der Kurs von dort wieder nach oben abprallt. Warum bist du hier mit deinem Wiki eigentlich investiert? Hat Libuda dich in durch seine Inception Postings verführt?

Yes, I would say our primary strategy with large carriers is to land and expand. I think we signed the carrier I mentioned in [our] script, we landed late in the year. They're already at a million dollar premium run rate, and it's just going to increase from here. And with a much shorter sale cycle, I think that just that much more efficient way to close the deal. So that's our, I would say, target.
That said we're dealing with some large organizations with a lot of opportunity. And so I would say we're making good progress on getting it across the line. Again, it's impossible to predict exactly when. But we feel good about where we are. And I think that we've got a very good team in place to get them closed.
