TWST: Could you please begin with a view of Local Corporation's focus and the platforms it offers?
Mr. Thiel: Local Corporation is focused on connecting consumers to products and businesses primarily in North America, with plans to expand internationally. We are all about providing consumers with the most relevant and rich experience when they are searching for products and businesses in their local area, as well as providing advertisers with some of the best vehicles to reach those consumers. The company is publicly listed on Nasdaq, went public in 2004 and trades under the symbol LOCM. And for 2013, we had annual revenues of $94.5 million and adjusted EBITDA of just over $4 million.
CEO Thiel: "Our network business, which makes up the other half of our revenue, is predominantly a business where we partner with publishers and provide them with local search capability, display advertising solutions — including pre-roll video — pay-per-call leads and more, and that business focuses on creating enhanced reach for advertisers. And then, on an extended basis, we serve up about 3 billion ad impressions a month to the broader Internet browsers in the U.S. who are looking for products and services."

The new network connects online and on-the-go consumers searching for local businesses and services in specific categories with relevant advertisers who provide those services via pay-per-call ads. Based on the valuable pay-per-call ad model, the network provides advertisers with a new channel to generate quality consumer leads in local markets and convert them to customers via mobile.
