(weil der "Waldi" vom "Der Aktionär" mit diesem Begriff Schindluder getrieben hat):

Why 402 million market--cap of the Rubicon Project are a joke agaiinst 42 million market-cap of Local Corp
For the full year ending December 31, 2014, the Rubicon project expects:
• Revenue between $117 million and $119 million;
• Adjusted EBITDA between negative and positive $1.0 million;

For the full year ending December 31, 2014, Local Corps project expects:
• Revenue between of 107 million million;
• Adjusted EBITDA of positive $4.0 million; Less

I believe, with this and a lot other compares, it is simple to understand, why fankenguru said, that Local Corp is a sure tenbagger.

And not extreme overvalued like Yelp, extreme undervalued

Local advertising is difficult to scale, so it hasn't been a low-hanging fruit in the first stages of mobile media monetization

Only few companies like Local Corp can say: "Yes, we can."

And no other company has a better IP-portfolio in local like Local Corp.

A more idotic divergence I never had seen

Yelp reported $89 million in revenue for the second quarter – that ins only 3.2 fold of my estimate of 28 million for Local Corp. But the market-cap of Yelp is with 5.15 billion the 123-fold of the idiotic low 41.67 million market-cap of Local Corp

Hyperlocalized ads with Local Corporation

Friday, November 08, 2013 (Allvoices)

One ad network on the ad:tech New York expo floor is making an impression with advertisers thanks to its focus on local. With Groupon and retailer coupons on the decline, advertisers are looking for a way to reach regional audiences that doesn't rely on location-based targeting alone. Advertisers also need to incorporate images, text, video and sound across all platforms.

Local Corporation's strategy is holistic. With display ads on local newspapers and local business registers as well as pre-roll ads and mobile banners, Local Corporation can ensure that people in the right areas are seeing the right ads–and people outside of those areas don't.

This optimization should improve click-thru rates, which Local Corporation claims are eight times higher through their network than the industry standard. With 3 billion impressions and 2 1/2 page views per visit on average with 50 million monthly page views in total, that's a lot of clicks.

Local advertising is difficult to scale, so it hasn't been a low-hanging fruit in the first stages of mobile media monetization. But advertisers know mobile now and they're finally ready to do local

How retailers will beat Amazon and Ebay with geofencing

Krillion by Local now powers local-shopping experiences for apps, brands and retailers. Krillion provides apps with real-time access to data on products, pricing and in-store availability at popular retailers, including Best Buy, Sears, Target and Wal-Mart.

Local also demoed some cool products at the Seimer Summit this week in Santa Monica, Calif. "Geofencing" technology allows brands and retailers to message consumers with offers that incorporate real-time product data when they come within a certain distance of a store. "Ambient data" feeds allow retailers to place store hours and location information next to product-related YouTube videos.

"Krillion's dynamic data feeds enable advertising and app data to be delivered in highly personalized ways," says Local CEO Fred Thiel. "Marketers can reach targeted consumers based on where they happen to be, where they are going and what products they have been researching."

Investing in APIs is strategically important for Local. The Krillion API allows them to work with large corporations willing to subscribe to expensive data feeds. Local previously focused more on selling advertising packages to small and medium-sized business. Also, more than half of Local's revenue comes from partnerships with Yahoo and Google, so Local is now able to diversify its revenue and reduce dependence on those two tech giants.

The Krillion by Local's developer site gives a broad overview of what is possible with Local's APIs.

Quartal.
