Two mines will employ dozens

A junior mining company plans on opening two new mines in the South Porcupine area, but first shared the details of the underground operations with the public Wednesday.

Vedron Gold Inc. turned a ballroom into an information forum to address any concerns about its Timmins-based mines on the cusp of going into production.

"In my experience, there are two ways to go when opening a new mine: Confrontation or consultation," said Gerry McDonald, Vedron's operations manager for both mines. "I prefer to go for consultation."

The Davidson Tisdale mine is scheduled to go into production in the fall of 2007, while the smaller Fuller mine is slated to start up in early 2008.

No one at the meeting seemed to have concerns about the Davidson Tisdale mine because it is located a few miles north of South Porcupine, but the Fuller mine is situated just northeast of Cook Road and Gold Mine Road.

The Fuller mine, which is anticipated to have a production rate of 600 tons of gold ore per day over about four-and-a-half years, will operate 10 hours a day, seven days a week.

McDonald proposed the model used by the Buffalo Ankerite mine, which entails bi-weekly meetings to address public problems with the mine.

B.H. Martin Consultants' Rodney Doran, who is working with Vedron on both mines, said that the Fuller mine will only involve small blasting with minimal vibrations to allay the fears of nearby residents.

McDonald later added the mine would set off one small blast per day at the end of mine hours.

Vedron will send all of the ore rock from both mines to be crushed and milled at the Bell Creek mine owned by Lakeshore Gold.

McDonald said Fuller will employ roughly 68 contractors and 76 contractors at Davidson Tisdale, which will operate under similar parameters to Fuller, but produce around 1,000 tons per day for four years.

Vedron has opted to hire contractors for the life spans of the mines because they are so short.

"The life of the mines doesn't justify us hiring a whole crew just to lay them off in three years' time," McDonald said. "We'll consider hiring a crew if the resources are still there in a few years."

In response to public concern about truck noise, McDonald explained that all of the ore shipped to Bell Creek should be completed within operating hours.

A noise-reduction berm made of waste rock will be constructed around the Fuller mine site. McDonald said he can empathize with people living in the area because he once had a mining company drilling 200 metres below his former home in Cobalt.

"Walk a mile in my shoes," McDonald said. "I've been there."

Hab mir grad alle Sedars durchgeschaut. Aber sehr schlecht und unübersichtlich, könntest du eine Resourcenübersicht der 3 Projekte mit indicated und infferred einstellen?  

gehe ich mal von folgender Rechnung aus:

1600 tonnen pro tag bei 4 gramm pro tonne ergibt 6,4 kg gold pro tag das sind 6400/30 = 213UNZEN pro tag, sind auf 6 (Kompromiss zw. 5 und 7 Tage-Woche) tage gerechnet 1278 unzen die woch mal 52, sind 66456 unzen pro jahr mal 400 dollar/gewinn sind 26582400 gewinn pro jahr bei einer bewertung von 36 millionen

habe jetzt keine zeit dafuer, offiziell um 1 million unzen inoffiziell um 2 millionen  

abzüglich des Gehaltes für die Mitarbeiter, Fixkosten, Variablekosten, Fuhrpark, Abbauinstrumente, Goldgießerei.  

habe die rechnung ja deshalb bei 400 dollar gewinn pro unze gemacht, gehe von 250 dollar kosten aus,

man sieht dass viele aus vg ausgestiegen sind sonst weare hier und bei wo die hoelle los, wird wohl einigen noch sehr leid tun,

oder brauchen die deutschen wirklich boersenbriefe die Ihnen alles sagen

ich meine nur meinen thread von heute nacht - der ist ungültig, da vg und ivg zwei völlig unterschiedliche gesellschaften sind.
also , alles im lot -wie gehabt -nur keine aufregung und ja nicht verkaufen.

auch die meisten haben eben keine Geduld...ihr Problem.Und ich denke viele handeln auch nur Aktien die ihnen die BB´s empfehlen,die wenigsten werden sich ihre Aktien selbst aussuchen u recherchieren denn das kostet Zeit.Wiederum ist das Gejammer dann auch entsprechend gross wenn die hochgepushten Frittenbuden in den Keller fallen weil sie nichts wert sind  

in Luxembourg gibt es doch auch Käufer von BB.  

Gibt es, jedoch recherchieren die meisten hier selbst, jedenfalls die ich kenne, oder informiern sich teaglich ueber den wert, anstatt darauf zu warten dass ihnen ein BB alles sagt

 

nun sollten die Stein mit Lake shore (LSG) ins rollen kommen,

Habe tom schon angeschrieben, glaube er war nicht sehr erfreut ueber diesen artikel, er schrieb zurrueck er koenne kein news release wegen einem artikel machen.

We expect to be reporing drill results from the two drills on a regular
basis starting later this summer.
We should have all the necessary permissions for mining in 45 days, but we
will have to wait to learn if the government wishes any further changes.
Our relationships with other miners in Timmins are in good condition.

aber hier laufen deals über die theke- jenseits von bid und ask

poste es bei stockhouse im lakeshore bullboard bringt mehr aufmerksamkeit  

sollte von nun an, wenn die Dinge nur einigermaßen "normal" verlaufen, kontinuierlich nach oben gehen. Für heute ist die Nachfrage sicher erst einmal bescheiden, weil die Nachricht bislang nur die Boardteilnehmer hier und bei w:o kennen...und auch nicht jeder hat dies tagsüber schon gelesen. Das sieht dann morgen schon anders aus, insbesondere wenn dieser Tage noch etwas Offizielles von Vedron dazu kommt.
Der Aufruf eines Börsenbriefes ist auch gut möglich, ob er sinnvoll ist, sei dahin gestellt...für einen stärkeren Anschub vielleicht...aber ansonsten wollen wir wohl längerfristig die Lemminge lieber nicht dabei haben!
Die Machbarkeitsstudie sowie die ab Mitte/Ende Sommer die angekündigten, regelmäßigen Veröffentlichungen von Tiefbohrungen sollten dann das Ihre dazu beitragen, den Kurs bis Produktionsbeginn gleichmäßig in Richtung des von vielen erhofften 1 Euro zu bringen!
Und damit wäre Vedron immer noch billig!
