Allen hier viel Erfolg!

Local Corporation Launches nFuse™, Hyperlocal, Data-Driven Mobile Ad Solution, Powered by Krillion®

Pilot Ad Campaigns Running in Two Markets
Local Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading local advertising and technology company, today announced the launch of nFuse, its hyperlocal, data-driven mobile ad solution, powered by the company’s Krillion® local shopping platform.
The company’s powerful, location-aware mobile ad solution allows national and regional brands to more effectively engage with on-the-go consumers through location-based rich media ads that use a consumer’s current location to retrieve nearby local store information, and up-to-the-minute product, pricing, and in-stock availability details.
“By combining the power of hyper-local targeting with dozens of dynamic data elements and features from the Krillion platform, we are pushing the use of local data in advertising to new levels, providing a more intelligent rich advertising solution that we believe will allow retailers to drive consumer engagement and influence more cross-channel purchases,” said Sherry Thomas-Zon, vice president of local shopping, Local Corporation.
The first pilot campaigns utilizing the new solution have already been launched in two regional markets on behalf of a large national retailer. Local Corporation developed and designed this more engaging interactive ad unit to meet the retailer’s goal of driving high-intent mobile consumers both online and in-store.
Dynamic data elements and user actions available through nFuse include: time-zone adjusted store hour messaging, maps, image galleries for promoted categories, updated sale pricing, and an opt-in calendar feature for future sale reminders.
Local Corporation is partnering with leading independent global mobile ad network, InMobi on the integration and delivery of the mobile ad campaign. InMobi is the world's largest independent mobile ad network, engaging 759 million consumers across 165 countries.
The new nFuse solution is powered by Krillion’s local shopping platform, which aggregates, normalizes and distributes dynamic, national and regional retail shopping content, from approximately 120,000 store locations, representing nearly 3 million localized products.
The company will be introducing nFuse and other exciting products this week at ad:tech San Francisco (booth #2418), March 26-27, 2014.

Abwarten!
Logisch;jede technische Verbesserung bzw.
Schaun mer mal...
If this will happen, Local Corp's multiple will increase from idiotic low 0.4-times-revenues to 4-times-revenues and the high 22-times-revenues of Yelp will decrease to 7-times-revneues.
And the surprise for you: After this change with the factor 30 the multiple of Yelp is near double of Local Corp, too.
And therefore ignore the ID's of from the Yelp incubators/mangement paid pushers like The Street-Clown Cramer or ID's of criminal Mellissa Davis and gambino Adams like usicktrol12 or prettyfunny or other from the criminal crime behind The Street Sweeper, who want to steal your money, because saturation-effects will hurt Yelp.
The business of Local Corp is more sustainable than the business of Yelp. Yelp is bad for real consumer-products, you can it only use for restaurants and similar. But if you had found an excellent restaurant, you will ignore Yelp in the future. But by every buy of a new product, you want to look at the inventory and prices of some shops around you and use an offer of Local Corp, especially since Krillion was intergrated in the most offers of Local Corp.
And therefore a rational investor should hurry with a change from extreme overvalued Yelp with the big danger of a fast saturation to the extreme undervalued Local Corp with a lot higher sustainability than Yelp
We are a leading technology and advertising company that provides our search results to consumers who are searching online for local businesses, products and services. Our search results consist primarily of local business listings and product listings that we aggregate, index, normalize and syndicate using our sophisticated technology platforms. We provide our search results through our flagship website, our Krillion website and platform and through other proprietary websites (“Owned and Operated” or “O&O”) and to a network of over 1,600 other websites that rely on our search syndication services to provide local search results to their own users (“Network”). We also aggregate and distribute product search results to third party partners through our proprietary Krillion® local shopping platform. We generate revenue from a variety of ad units we place alongside our search results, which include payper-click, pay-per-call, and display (banner) ad units, including video.
Our principal products include our Flagshipsite, which reaches approximately 20 million monthly unique visitors (“MUVs”) each month; our search syndication services, which provide either hosted business or product directories as well as display and ad feed solutions to a network of partner websites, which reach approximately 7 million MUVs and our Krillion local shopping platform.
Researchers from City University of Hong Kong, Purdue University and Georgia Institute of Technology found that the tone of stock market opinion blogs published on investor forum SeekingAlpha predicted stock returns, as well as earnings surprises, above and beyond what was evident from Wall Street analyst reports and financial news articles.
Researchers analyzed about 100,000 Seeking Alpha articles and commentary published between 2005 and 2012 for the paper “Wisdom of Crowds: The Value of Stock Opinions Transmitted Through Social Media,” which is forthcoming in the Review of Financial Studies.
“Seeking Alpha is the only platform to date that we have shown can predict individual stock returns,” said Yu Jeffrey Hu, associate professor at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business and one of the authors of the study. Other authors of the study are Hailiang Chen, Prabuddha De, and Byoung-Hyoun Hwang.
Dr. Hu said that research was in no way sponsored or facilitated by Seeking Alpha. The company did provide a proprietary data stream for one portion of the research, he said.
The researchers looked for the fraction of negative words in the articles and commentary on a particular stock on a particular date, and then tracked the performance of the stock after the blog publication.
It turned out that the more negative the blogs and blog comments were on a stock, the more likely the stock was to perform worse than similar stocks in the next several months. Similarly, the negative tone of SeekingAlpha articles predicted earnings surprises, which are the earnings results reported by companies relative to the average of analysts’ earnings forecasts.
