Man darf sich hier nicht vom Zusatz "Software" irritieren lassen, denn trotz der fast 20-mal so hohen Bewertung eines Umsatzdollars machen die teilweise sehr Ähnliches wie Local.com.

sind einige Spezialportale dabei, deren Bewertung ich im Vergleich zu Local.com für absurd halte.  Nicht rational nachvollziebar ist, dass Spezialportale wie Kayak.com (Reisen), Open Table (Restaurantreservierung), Zillow (Immobilien) und einige andere, eine hohes Mehrfaches (oft zweistellig) bei der Bewertung eines Umsatzdollars aufweisen als Local.com. Diesen Spezialportalen ist meist gemeinsam, dass sie in den letzten Monaten über IPO's zu Mondpreisen von den Markt gedrückt wurden. Klar kommen sie vor allem deshalb, weil sie zunächst mit Cash von den Inkubatoren gefüttert wurden und dann beim IPO auch noch Cash generierten. Aber trotzdem ist die Cash meist nicht mehr als 10% des Börsenwertes.  

Zillow (spezielles Immobilienportal) ist so ein extremer Fall. Zillow hat eine Börsenbewertung, die dem 11,6-fachen des Umsatzes entspricht (auf der Basis der Umsatz von Q1/2012). Das ergibt sich aus dem dem Quartalsumsatz von 22,8 Millionen in Q1/2012 und einer heutigen Marktkapitalisierung von 1,06 Milliarden, Tripadvisor ist durchaus eine gute Unternehmung – aber die Unterschiede zu einer Bewertung von Local.com sind einfach zu hoch. Denn jeder Dollar Umsatz von Zillow wird mit dem ca. 23-fachen des Umsatzes von einem Dollar Umsatz bei Local.com bewertet, das nur ein Umsatzmultiple von 0,5 aufweist.

von Local.com auch. Aber sie nicht gegen diesen neuen Bereich von Oracle aufgestellt, sondern konzentrieren sich auf die SMB's, also kleinere Unternehmen, die sich Oracle nicht leisten können und wo das zu komplex wäre, beim Local Search.

weil nackte Shortseller ihre Positionen erhöhen, jedes weitere Dip macht die Aktie noch interessanter, denn man kann dann mit dem gleichen Betrag mehr kaufen. Ohne diesen Effekt wäre ich nie und nimmer auf meine jetzt 52.950 Stock gekommen.

Das ist sicher ein gewisses Wagnis und nicht für jeden empfehlenswert, aber wie Ihr vielleicht mitbekommen habt (hier und auf dem Yahoo-Board als Flankenking), passe ich schon sehr genau auf, was sich tut.

auf Ariva irritieren, denn 1,846 müsst Ihr schon anlegen - und dafür gibt es auch nur 1.000 Stück in München, ansonsten sind höhere Limits erforderlich, um reinzukommen:
