LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Calypte Biomedical Corporation (Amex: HIV) (the "Company"), in compliance with American Stock Exchange Company Guide Section 610(b), today announced that the Company's independent registered public accounting firm included a going concern explanatory paragraph in its report on Calypte's consolidated financial statements as of and for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2005. The qualification was included as a result of the Company's recurring net losses and negative cash flows from operations. Thanks. China FDA approval process...
The Chinese SFDA approval process is very similar to U.S. FDA. Why? Because Chinese government has adopted many U.S. laws and regulations like many other development countries. If you apply new drugs in China, you may have to go through the same processes like here such as three phases and many years testing/waiting. Since Calypte HIV testing tool is not a drug so the process is much shorter.
First step: Calypte must go through Beijing Food/drug agency (Local agency) since Marr is registered in Beijing district. (All applicants must submit their applications to local province FDA agency first. Ex: if a company is located in ShangHai, the company must submit NDA to ShangHai FDA first).
Second step: if the Beijing (local) FDA agency approves the application, then they submit the files to SFDA on behalf of the applicant.. (the duty of local FDA agency is to ensure the application is complete, the company is genuine, the fee is paid, and other minor things. This will help SFDA to save manpower and time).
Third step: after receiving the package from local FDA. SFDA sends the application to CDE for evaluation. (CDE much likes U.S. FDA review panel; CDE...Center for drug Evaluation).
Forth step: CDE reviews and evaluates the application (here is Aware OMT). If CDE OKs (or not OKs) the application, the recommendatin will be made and the package will be send back to SFDA for approval (or disapproval).
Fifth step: SFDA takes final look and makes final decision (approval or disapproval) based on CDE recomm.
Sixth step: the package will be returned to Beijing (Local) FDA agency, and the applicant (here is Beijing Marr) picks up the package, signs on paper, receives certificate, and pays final fees if any.
I don't think Calypte mgmt fully understood the NDA process in China since the application was handled by Marr. When Beijing FDA agency accepted Marr/Calypte appl in Jan, CEO thought it was SFDA. Honest mistake.
Actually, the whole process is very simple and straight. SFDA approval time is much less than U.S. FDA's. The average of approval time for U.S. FDA is about 13 months. Chinese SFDA is about 100-180 days. However, if there is some problem/questions in the NDA, then the process may take many many months.
Anyways, it's guessing game now until.....

deiner muß auf 0,26$ liegen oder drüber...
sollte sich der sk zwischen unseren tipps befinden, dann gewinnt natürlich keiner.
die wette gilt nur, wenn du bis 15.00h eingewilligt hast. eine flasche schampus: kein "mumm-pfurz-trocken" oder "freixenet", sondern normaler schampus (0,7l-flasche)(moet & chandon,Veuve Clicquot...etc...) kostet im supermarkt ca. 25,-.. --------------------------------------------------
