Mersana - Buy rating trotz Kurssturz

Mal ein neuer Thread für Alle die wie ich bei vassago vom Thread ausgeschlossen wurden! HIer gab es einen Kurssturz verursacht dadurch dass der Hauptkanditat floppte.  Hatte ich auch am Freitag noch gepostet

Mersana steigt wegen GSK-Deal: Die Aktien des im klinischen Stadium befindlichen biopharmazeutischen Unternehmens Mersana Therapeutics, Inc. MRSN stiegen stark an, nachdem das Unternehmen eine Zusammenarbeit mit GSK plc GSK ankündigte.  Durch die Übernahme erhält GSK eine exklusive Option auf die gemeinsame Entwicklung und Vermarktung von XMT-2056, einem Immunosynthen-ADC, das auf ein neuartiges Epitop von HER2 abzielt. XMT-2056 ist so konzipiert, dass es das angeborene Immunsystem durch STING-Signale sowohl in tumorresidenten Immunzellen als auch in Tumorzellen aktiviert. Gemäß den Bedingungen erhält Mersana eine Vorab-Optionskaufgebühr von 100 Millionen US-Dollar. Mersana hat außerdem Anspruch auf bis zu 1,36 Mrd. USD in Form einer Optionsausübungsgebühr und Meilensteinzahlungen für Entwicklung, Zulassung und Vermarktung, falls GSK seine Option ausübt.

MRSN surged after the company announced a collaboration deal with GSK plc GSK.  The acquisition provides GSK an exclusive option to co-develop and commercialize XMT-2056, an Immunosynthen ADC that targets a novel epitope of HER2. XMT-2056 is designed to activate the innate immune system through STING signaling in both tumor-resident immune cells and tumor cells. Per the terms, Mersana will receive an upfront option purchase fee of $100 million. Mersana is also eligible to receive up to $1.36 billion in the form of an option exercise payment and development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments if GSK exercises its option.
