ReneSola sells wafers to Suntech

CHINA: Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. signed an agreement with ReneSola Ltd. to purchase 510 MW of silicon wafers over a four-year period beginning in January 2008.
Dr. Zhengrong Shi, Suntech's chairman and CEO, said, "This agreement demonstrates Suntech's ability to continue to secure a high volume of silicon despite the industry shortage. These silicon wafers will supplement our already healthy and diversified supply outlook for the next four years as well as enable us to increase our production of high efficiency solar cells and achieve our market expansion goals faster than we originally anticipated."

MULTICRYSTALLINE PRODUCTION CAPACITY UPDATE
ReneSola Ltd ("ReneSola" or the "Company") (AIM: SOLA), a leading manufacturer
of solar wafers for the photovoltaic industry, is pleased to announce
significant progress in the implementation of multicrystalline wafer
production.
On 23 August 2007 in the announcement of the second quarter financial results,
the Company provided an update on the trial production from the new
multicrystalline furnaces.
The Company is pleased to provide a further update on the status of the trial
production and production from the multicrystalline furnaces. Four furnaces
have successfully passed trial production and are now in full production. A
further six furnaces are at different stages of trial production and are
expected in full production by the end of September. Trial production from a
further five furnaces is expected to commence by the end of September.
Wafers produced from the new multicrystalline furnaces have been tested by
customers and exceeded the required levels of energy conversion efficiency.
ReneSola will announce details of third quarter production output in the first
week of October.

Shanghai, China - Der chinesische Solarwafer-Produzent ReneSola hat einen Silizium-Liefervertrag mit der Sichuan Yongxiang Polysilicon Co. Ltd. abgeschlossen. Yongxiang Polysilicon wird ab der zweiten Jahreshälfte 2008 über drei Jahre hinweg insgesamt ca. 3.700 t Silizium an ReneSola liefern. Nach ReneSola-Angaben ist diese Menge ausreichend für die Herstellung von Wafern mit einem Volumen von insgesamt ca. 450 MW. Das Polysilizium soll im noch im Bau befindlichen Yongxiang-Werk in der chinesischen Provinz Sichuan (Zentral-China) hergestellt werden. Die Inbetriebnahme des Werks ist für das zweite Halbjahr 2008 vorgesehen.

500 MW On-grid Power Generation Project
According to the letter of intent entered into with the Yancheng city government, ReneSola will develop a 500 MW on-grid power generation project in Jiangsu province, China. The project will consist of mainly ground-mounted system applications and 10 MW of rooftop installations to be built over a 6 year period.
5 MW Panzhihua Project
According to the letter of intent entered into with the Panzhihua east district government, ReneSola will develop a rooftop project of no less than 600,000 square meters for new or existing government buildings, with installed capacity planned to reach 5 MW.
ReneSola, a manufacturer of solar wafers, has entered into a letter of intent with the Yancheng city government in China's Jiangsu province, to develop a 500MW on-grid solar power generation project. In addition, the company has been granted the exclusive right in a letter of intent with the Panzhihua East district government in the Sichuan province, to develop a 5MW rooftop project.
ReneSola has said that both the projects are subject to feasibility studies and approvals by various government authorities.

Die Renesola-Aktie gewinnt am Donnerstag knapp 15 Prozent. Auslöser für diesen Kurssprung ist die Meldung über die Entwicklung eines 150 MW Solarprojektes mit der Regionalregierung von Wuzhong. Eine entsprechende Absichtserklärung wurde bereits unterzeichnet. Insgesamt hat das Projekt ein Volumen von rund 700 Millionen Dollar. Entstehen wird das Sonnenkraftwerk in Ningxia, eine der sonnigsten Regionen des Riesenreiches. (komplette Meldung)
Der chinesische Solarhersteller verkauft immer mehr seiner Module direkt im Heimatmarkt. Bereits Mitte August gab Renesola eine Absichtserklärung über die Entwicklung eines 500-Megawatt-Solarprojektes in der chinesischen Provinz Jiangsu bekannt. Insgesamt erwartet das Unternehmen im laufenden Jahr eine Produktion zwischen 450 und 500 Megawatt.

also wenn ich solche artikel lese dann bin ich echt am zweifeln wie es hier weiter geht
und ob wir überhaupt mal über die 3€ kommen
bin auch investiert und hoffe auf 2-3 jahre eigentlich mit bis zu 8-10€
aber wie schon gesagt wenn ich jetzt diesen artikel hier lese dann weiß ich nicht ob das wirklich so der fall ist
Is China's Solar Wafer Production Out of Control?
For ReneSola (SOL) and LDK Solar (LDK)) investors, the worst is yet to come. China's poly-silicon production increases dramatically in the last 12 months and two new companies just started to produce poly-silicon last Months.
U.S.-listed solar wafer makers Renesola and LDK solar are facing tougher and tougher competition, their futures have now dimmed further since two more companies in China announced plans to produce poly-silicon wafers: Puhong new energy Corp and Shengte new energy Corp. Puhong is expected to produce 1500 tons poly-silicon by 2010 (a capacity compatible with Renesola's). Puhong won the bid in China's first 10MW solar project according to the China's official renewable energy website.
The two new poly-silicon companies sit just beside Renesola in the same industrial park in Zhejiang province. The amazing thing is that Renesola didn't win the contract to provide the wafer to the 10MW project, but a new company did. This is another example that indicates poly-silicon prices will tumble further if China's production goes out of control.
Renesola and LDK solar did sign some solar projects, but the funding for those projects is yet to be established. Moreover, the future of these projects is still uncertain because the Chinese central government is slowing down the loan programs due to over lending in the first half of 2009. Also, the solar projects announced in the past few months in China will still depend upon feasibility studies, which will take a long time.
Solar investors may hope solar wafer prices will stablize, but the reality may disappoint. The good news is for PV module makers, such as Yingli Green and Suntech power, as costs go down with the declining price of poly-silicon, making them compatible with First Solar FSLR

renesola hat mehrere grossaufträge......und die sind bald unter den grossen in asien am mit mischen,da sie grosse Solarkraftwerke erichten wollen !!!!
Wer sich rausdrängen lässt ist selber schuld........wartet mal ab bis die Krise vorbei ist.
Meine bisherigen Infos sehen ganz gut aus. Hat sich jemand hier näher mit dem Wert beschäftigt?
