...Traders, Amis haben abgewartet, nicht mehr, nicht weniger, Big Al hatte 7,75 bil. $ zur Verfügung...der Dax hat über dem wichtigen Wiederstand bei 71 geschlossen, die wichtigen Marken bei 65/68 brachen nur, weil SIE binnen ca. 2 Min. stark einbrach, bzw. man sie einbrechen ließ...man kann's im Intrachart sehr schön erkennen ;-)...waren wohl noch zu viele long...Eröffnung über PP nehme ich an, ein ranlaufen an R1 bzw. aberen 89er Bereich ist sehr wahrscheinlich, wenn dieser überwunden werden kann, hat der Dax zunächst Platz bis 4110/4115...es ist allerdings unwahrscheinlich, daß sich der Dax ohne Hilfe stark aus dem Fenster lehnen wird...ggf. über Futs, Oiro, gr. Übernahmegerüchte ?...we'll see...unter PP ist von einem weiteren Luftholen auszugehen, so daß weiteres downpot. bis in den unteren 50er Bereich rasch nach dem Break freigesetzt wird... intraday wuerde ich genau auf den Chart bzw. Trend achten, wenn dieser Trend gebrochen wird, wuerde ich konsequent abdrücken...wichtige Termine gibt es heute ausreichend !!...der VDax ist erneut ein wichtiger Indikator!...über 20 im VDax sollten die Warnlämpchen angehen...hierauf ist im Zweifel ein besonderes Augenmerk zu richten ...Scheinchen sollten etwas weiter gewählt werden ... also, heute auf VDAX!, Schwergewichte (insbes. DTE, SIE, SAP, DB!), Oiro und Gold achten ...immer alles nur meine Meinung ! ...Oiro steht bei 1,2174 !!! und Gold bei 392,7 !!, Nikkei ist mit 0,8 % vorne...HK ist akt. 0,2 % hinten... natürlich kann es wie immer auch anders kommen ...good trades !

DEUTSCHE TELEKOM, FRANCE TELECOM
Moody's Investors Service upgraded both companies by one notch to Baa2, the second lowest investment grade, citing debt reduction and cash flow growth on Wednesday. The ratings are still one notch lower than the BBB+ assigned to both by Standard & Poor's.

CARREFOUR
The world's second largest retailer, is likely to report a rise of more than 13 percent in 2003 earnings, with lower financial charges offsetting weakness at its hypermarket stores.
However analysts will focus mostly on Carrefour's 2004 growth targets and its message on hypermarkets in France, Carrefour's main market, where the megastores have taken a hit from consumer pessimism over the economy

European shares were seen opening firmer on Thursday ahead of an interest rate decision from the European Central Bank,
although technology shares were braced for an update from the world's largest chipmaker Intel
Intel fell 1.9 percent to $29.04 on Wednesday after Lehman Brothers said investors expect the company to narrow its revenue target in its mid-quarter update to the lower end of its previous target due to weakness in the notebook computer market.

Retailers could come under pressure after France's Pinault Printemps Redoute posted a sharp drop in full-year operating profit on a string of divestments and in the absence of big financial gains.
Europe will be watching the ECB's news conference at 1330 GMT for clues to the next move.

Europe's biggest non-food retailer about to add the rest of luxury house Gucci (Amsterdam:GCCI.AS - News) to its empire said operating profit fell to 1.297 billion euros after 1.827 billion a year earlier, and against analysts' forecasts for 1.326 billion euros.

REXEL (Paris:CDME.PA - News)
The world's biggest electrical equipment supplier said late Wednesday it swung to a full-year net profit and sees moderate growth in like-for-like sales and operating profit this year.
Rexel, a unit of PPR which plans to eventually divest it, posted 2003 net profit of 75.8 million euros versus a previous loss of 31.2 million.


HAVAS ADVERTISING (Paris:EURC.PA - News)
The French firm said costs linked to a restructuring pushed it to a weaker than expected net loss of 396 million euros in 2003, but that it would propose a net dividend of five euro cents per share, down from nine euro cents for 2002.
Operating profit was 136 million euros in 2003 -- in line with a consensus estimate of 135 million -- giving an operating margin of 8.3 percent against 11.1 percent in 2002.

SUEZ (Paris:LYOE.PA - News)
The French utility posted a wider-than-expected 2003 net loss of 2.165 billion euros after taking hefty exceptional charges but said it expected to swing into profit this year as it targeted additional cost-cuts. Suez made a loss of 863 million euros in 2002.


MAN (XETRA:MANG.DE - News)
The German trucks and engineering group posted a 23 percent rise in 2003 pre-tax profit of 261 million euros last year from 219 million in 2002 and said it expected further strong earnings growth this year.
