The new residential system will utilize a ground-mounted array of more than 140 solar modules. It is designed to meet virtually all of the current electric usage charges for the residence and to take advantage of net metering, an option that provides a credit for excess energy produced by the solar system. Surplus kilowatt hours are ''stored'' by the utility until needed by the homeowner, and are ''netted,'' or paid back, on an annual basis.
Seven residential installations, four in New Jersey and three in California, were completed by WorldWater & Power and its subsidiary, Quantum Energy Group, in the fourth quarter of 2005.
Of the newly installed systems on private homes in New Jersey, three are in Mercer County -- in Lawrence Township, Princeton Township, and Hamilton -- and one is in Sea Isle City in Cape May County. The average cost for the installations is just over $47,000, but more than 65% of the cost will be refunded to the owners by the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, according to Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Power.
''New Jersey has one of the highest, most active rebate programs for residential and commercial purchasers of solar electric systems in the nation,'' said Mr. Kelly. ''New Jersey homeowners are beginning to realize the extent to which the generous rebates in this state make the systems affordable, and the substantial energy savings help the systems essentially pay for themselves. With rising utility rates, switching to renewable energy makes a great deal of sense.''
Each of the four New Jersey residential installations utilizes photovoltaic (PV) panels in a fixed roof-mounted array. Total system output ranges from approximately 4.8 kilowatts (kW) to 8.2 kW. The systems are designed to generate an average of more than 8,500 kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually and are expected to meet virtually all of the current electric usage charges for the residences.
The three residential systems most recently completed by Quantum Energy Group in California are all roof-mounted systems -- a 2.8 kW system in Penn Valley, a 4 kW system in Sacramento, and a 6kW system in Marysville.

PENNINGTON, N.J., Jan 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- WorldWater & Power Corp.
(OTCBB:WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today
announced it has engaged legal counsel to seek delisting of the Company's stock on the Berlin Stock Exchange.
"We believe that the listing of WorldWater & Power Corp. stock on the Berlin Exchange does not benefit the Company or its shareholders, and are therefore taking the necessary steps to remove the Company from this exchange," stated Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Office of WorldWater & Power.
"There are so many positive things occurring at WorldWater," Kelly continued, "including strong demand for our product and services as demonstrated by our current backlog, the expectation of 2006 revenue between $25 million and $35 million, and the acquisition of Quantum Energy Group to better position the Company to handle the emerging implementation volume."
The Company's common stock will continue to trade on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Mr. Kelly said.
aber die kommt auch wieder runter. Ist halt etwas tricky, mit OTC-Werten Geld verdienen zu wollen.

WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that, effective immediately, James S. Farrin is named interim chief executive officer. Quentin T. Kelly, chairman and previously CEO, will continue in the role of chairman with a focus on corporate strategy, business development, and capital markets activity. Given WorldWater's growing backlog and increasing demand in the marketplace, the addition of a separate, dedicated CEO will allow for improved operational execution. Mr. Farrin served as president and chief operating officer of WorldWater & Power from 1999 through 2001, when the company was in an R&D phase, and is currently a management consultant to the company. WorldWater & Power has also begun a nationwide search for a permanent CEO and president.

Quentin T. Kelly, chairman of WorldWater & Power, commented, "Jim knows the company well from his prior experience and can immediately have an impact on all operational aspects of the organization. In addition to his thorough understanding of WorldWater & Power from his time with the company, Jim has the decision-making and leadership skills, the creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit needed to achieve our objectives this year. We see great opportunities ahead for WorldWater & Power and believe that, to make the most of the favorable industry dynamics, we need to have an executive solely focused on running our operations and establishing our leadership position within the renewable energy industry."

Solar Pumping System featured at World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA
PENNINGTON, N.J., Feb. 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, is exhibiting at the 39th Annual World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, through February 16. The WorldWater & Power exhibit features a specially designed compact prototype of the company's Mobile MaxPower(tm), a mobile solar electric power and pumping unit.

WorldWater & Power designs and installs systems for irrigation, electric power, refrigeration and chilling, and other agricultural and agribusiness needs. Recent projects include:
-- the installation of a 267 kilowatt AquaMax(tm) system which drives
a 200 horsepower pump -- the largest solar-powered irrigation system
in the world -- at Seley Ranch, a premium grower of citrus fruit near
San Diego, California.
-- a grid-tied solar system at the Locke cotton ranch in the San
Joaquin Valley supplies power to drive a 50 HP irrigation pump and
a 10 HP well pump as well as electricity for the main residence
and farm shop. The 38 kilowatt array generates approximately
64,600 kilowatt hours of electricity per year, and keeps the
farm's irrigation system running during brownouts and blackouts.
-- a 350 hp compressor pump for a food processing refrigeration unit
in Edison, California reduces grid electricity use and increases
profits because it can operate economically by sunshine alone or
in automatic combination with the electric grid or with diesel
generators.
-- a system at Flatbrook Farm in Montague, New Jersey, uses sunshine
to provide light and power for the barn, residence and farm shop,
and saves money with "net metering" to spin the farm's electrical
meters backwards. Jersey Central Power and Light "banks"
Flatbrook's unused self-generated solar electricity for later use
by the farm as needed.

The World Ag Expo, originally called The Farm Show, was first held in 1968, at the County Fairgrounds in Tulare, California. It is now the world's largest agricultural exposition, with more than 1,500 exhibitors displaying the latest in farm equipment, chemicals, communications, and technology on 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space. Exhibit space for the show has been sold out since mid-December, which 2006 World Ag Expo chairman Erin Ferguson says is ``evidence of the importance of this show in the agricultural industry, world-wide.'' Last year's Expo set records for attendance as well as number of exhibitors, with more than 100,000 visitors from over 60
Sehr geehrte maydornreport-Leser,
