German Bio Fuels GmbH führt Geschäftsbetrieb in Pritzwalk fort /
Sämtliche Arbeitsplätze bleiben erhalten
Pritzwalk (ots) - Nur einen Monat nach Eröffnung des
Insolvenzverfahrens konnte Rechtsanwalt Horst Piepenburg, der durch
das Amtsgericht Neuruppin zum Insolvenzverwalter über das Vermögen
der EOP Biodiesel AG bestellt worden ist, den Mitarbeitern die
Rettung verkünden.
Zum 01. April 2011 übernimmt die German Bio Fuels GmbH die
Produktion am Standort Pritzwalk mit sämtlichen 55 Mitarbeitern.
Hinter der Gesellschaft steht eine Investorengruppe um die bisherigen
Vorstände der EOP Biodiesel AG, Herr Jörg Jacob und Herr Bengt
Korupp, die als Geschäftsführer der neuen Gesellschaft an Bord
bleiben.
Horst Piepenburg: "Mit der Übernahme der Vermögensgegenstände
durch die German Bio Fuels wird sichergestellt, dass der
Geschäftsbetrieb fortgeführt werden kann und die Arbeitsplätze
erhalten werden. Das war immer unser oberstes Ziel."
Jörg Jacob: "Wir sind sicher, in der neuen Aufstellung mit der
bewährten Mannschaft ein zukunftsfähiges Unternehmen zu haben, das
langfristig erfolgreich im Markt für erneuerbare Energien tätig sein
wird.
Das Amtsgericht Neuruppin hatte am 01. März 2011 das
Insolvenzverfahren eröffnet, nachdem die EOP Biodiesel AG trotz
Erfolgen im operativen Geschäft in eine finanzielle Schieflage
geraten war. Dem Unternehmen waren hauptsächlich Altlasten aus der
Vergangenheit, die aus einer gescheiterten
Internationalisierungsstrategie resultierten, zum Verhängnis
geworden.
