Project Summary:
It has been at least a decade since the discovery of an important new massive sulphide district. Recent results indicate that the Salazar Resources Ltd. Curipamba project in central Ecuador is becoming just that. The El Domo deposit has all the characteristics of a classic Kuroko-type volcanic hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) deposit.
The project is located on the western slope of the Andes, about 900 meters above the coastal plane. The rock units are mid-Eocene age and as such, with the exception of a few pre and post-mineralization faults, they have not experienced extensive deformation. The Curipamba project is in a volcanogenic massive sulphide environment with evidence of submarine deposition of sulphides. The deposit lies in relatively simple volcano-sedimentary stratigraphy. A felsic unit of dacite flow and clastic rocks is immediately overlain by the massive sulphide unit that is composed of massive to semi-massive sphalerite, chalcopyrite and pyrite lenses, intercalated with debris flows and volcaniclastic and seafloor sediment. The sulphide layer is predominantly overlain by andesitic pyroclastic rocks.
The results from initial geochemical surveys were anomalous and the subsequent induced polarization geophysical survey identified several targets. Drilling has confirmed that the economic sulfides are present in several locations. An inferred resource of 4 million tons with a grade of 3.48 grams of gold per ton, 76.33 grams of silver per ton, 2.51% copper, 4.55% zinc and 0.47% lead has been calculated for El Domo, one of the anomalies of the Las Naves area. The El Domo deposit is in a stratbound, horizontal layer at a relatively shallow depth and is open in three directions.
Additional drilling of this target and other targets in the Curipamba project could add significantly to the potential resources. The Curipamba Project is a new gold and base metal massive sulphide camp in western Ecuador.

Salazar Project To Be Presented To Community Forums
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2010) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FARNKFURT:SRLZF) is pleased to announce a commission integrated by representatives which include: the Ministry of Non-Renewable Natural Resource, the Ministry of the Environment, National Water Secretary, and Secretary of the People, have notified the communities surrounding the Curipamba Project, that the company has completed all the necessary requirements and has complied with all regulations of the new mining law in order to recommence exploration activities. This commission held initial meetings last week with the local community leaders to schedule information sessions on the upcoming exploration activities of the Company. The information sessions are scheduled to take place during the week of April 26, 2010, and do not imply that additional approvals are necessary. The completion of these informational forums are the final requirement needed for authorization to restart work under the new mining law.
In anticipation of receiving final authorization to recommence exploration activities, the company has mobilized its diamond drilling equipment to the Curipamba project for the proposed 18,000 metre program. The program will commence with delineation drilling at the El Domo deposit which remains open in three directions, and contains an inferred resource of 4.08 Mt @ 3.48 g/t Au, 76.33 g/t Ag, 2.51% Cu, 4.55% Zn and 0.47% Pb (As previously reported Feb. 25, 2009). Subsequently systematic testing of 16 other geophysical anomalies that have similar characteristics as El Domo, such as the Sesmo surface anomaly where channel sample results of 15 m at 39.1 g/t Gold and 741 g/t silver were encountered (As previously reported April 25, 2007), will be carried out with the goal of discovering multiple new VMS deposits.
"We are very pleased that this final step is underway. Once completed, we anticipate being the next company in Ecuador to have complied with all the requirements under the new mining law, and we are very excited about being able to recommence our exploration program at Curipamba," stated Fredy Salazar, President and CEO.

Salazar Authorized to Recommence Exploration at Curipamba
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 04, 2010) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) is pleased to announce that the Company has been authorized by the Ministry of Non Renewable Natural Resources to restart all exploration activities on its Curipamba Project, Ecuador. Additionally, the Company is pleased to report that in accordance with the new mining law and applicable regulations the company has been granted title to its mining concessions for a period of 23 years with a renewable option of an additional 25 years.
"We are very pleased to be the first mining company to be granted permission to recommence exploration activities in Ecuador in over five months. This is a testament to the hard work and cooperation with the government of Ecuador for a sustainable and responsible mining future in the country. We feel very encouraged and pleased with the overwhelming support our project received in the surrounding communities during the recent informational meetings conducted by the government of Ecuador in accordance with the new regulations of the mining law," stated Fredy Salazar, President and CEO.
Salazar was in the early stages of its Phase 1 drill program when the El Domo discovery was made, having drilled only thirteen holes at El Domo prior to ceasing operations due to the introduction of the mining mandate. With this work the company generated an initial NI 43-101 inferred resource of 4.08 million tonnes of 3.48 grams per tonne gold, 76.33 grams per tonne silver, 2.51 per cent copper, 4.55 per cent zinc and 0.47 percent lead (as previously reported on Feb. 25, 2009).
The Phase 2 program includes an 18,000-metre drilling campaign and 500 line kilometers of geophysics. The exploration program will commence within two weeks, with delineation drilling at the El Domo deposit, which remains open in three directions. Salazar has purchased its own drill rig which will be dedicated solely to the Company's projects and will allow the Company to mobilize the drill immediately.
Subsequently, systematic drill testing of 16 other geophysical anomalies with similar characteristics as El Domo will be carried out with the goal of discovering multiple new VMS deposits. The geological environment and evidence from the Phase 1 drill program suggest that El Domo is a Kuroko-type Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) body that is notably rich in gold and silver. VMS deposits in districts similar to Curipamba typically occur in clusters and contain at least 5 to 8 mineralized bodies similar to El Domo; within each cluster there is typically one giant deposit greater than 20 million tonnes, and normally the deposits that cluster around volcanogenic discharge centers are spaced from 2 to 4 kms apart, such as the Curipamba Project's Las Naves, Sesmo Sur and Piedras Blancas discharge centers.
The Curipamba Project:
The Curipamba Project is a new gold rich and base metal Volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) camp in western Ecuador, in the Western Mountain range's Macuchi Group about a 2.5-hour drive from Ecuador's major port city, Guayaquil. There are a number of priority areas identified on the Curipamba project area including Sesmo Sur, Las Naves Central and Piedras Blancas.
Thus far, Salazar has discovered one deposit with a resource at Curipamba (El Domo) and one additional occurrence (Sesmo Sur). The Curipamba VMS camp is one of three major hydrothermal centres in the Ecuadorian Andes, each separated by 50-60 km. The Curipamba district is the southernmost of the three significant VMS camps in the Eocene volcanic arc of Ecuador.
The Company is well financed with over $4 million in working capital.

mk up gehen????
als penny stock gesehen. Damit dürften weitere Leute auf das niedrige Mk aufmerksam werden.

Salazar Commences Phase 2 Drill Program at Curipamba, Ecuador
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) is pleased to announce that the Company's 18,000 meter, Phase 2 drill program has commenced at the Curipamba Project in Ecuador.
The objective of the Phase 2 drill program is to continue the delineation of the El Domo deposit which is open to the north, south and west, and to test numerous other surrounding anomalies with similar geophysical and geochemical signatures, consisting of the following:
- 10,000 meters in 59 diamond drill holes (DDH) in order to look for the El Domo deposit extension and also test the other geochemical and geophysical anomalies at the Las Naves central area; (See Figure 1: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/srl614.pdf). The current program will continue the ore body delineation to the south with hole Curi-10-52 to be drilled 350 meters south of Curi-08-50 and 50 meters east of Curi-08-46 which intersected 16.3 meters of 3.59 g/t Au, 114.2 g/t Ag, 3.42 % Cu, 0.83 % Pb and 5.52 % Zn.
- 8,000 meters in 41 DDH at geochemistry and geophysics anomalies at the Sesmo Sur, La Vaquera and Agua Santa anomalies; (See Figure 2: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/2srl614.pdf).
Fredy Salazar, President and CEO states, "We are very pleased to recommence our drilling and continue on the success we experienced in our Phase 1 program which was cut short with the introduction of the mining mandate. We are confident that the continuation of the delineation drilling of the El Domo deposit will add significant tonnage to first of what could be many polymetallic mineralized bodies on the Curipamba project."
