Hervorragende und m.M. nach letzte Chance für einen mindestens 20% Kursanstieg in den nächsten tagen eröffnet sich für die Aktie von SCM Microsystem.

Nachdem der Aktienkurs an der Nasdaq um bis zu 15% gefallen war wurden Fragen nach den Gründen laut.
Hier die Gründe falls es welche geben sollte.

SCM hat seine Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft ausgetauscht.
Dies kann mehrere Gründe haben:
1. zu teuer
2. keine Leistung
3. Meinungsverschiedenheiten zB. Bilanzierungspraktiken

Die Tatsache, daß SCM die WP-Gesellschaft austauscht halte ich für ein Zeichen der Stärke des Unternehmens.
==> Nach Aussage des Unternehmens war nicht der Punkt 3. der Grund für die Auswechslung.

Mit Deloitte & Touch wurde die Verlagerung der Produktionsstätte nach Singapur und die entsprechenden Beratungen durchgeführt.
==> dies führt im übrigen zu einer sog. tax-free-status von 7 Jahren!!

Das Zahlenwerk wird positiv sein, ich kann dies nur nochmals wiederholen, da es keine! Gewinnwarnung gab und nach einem schwachen 2Q99 ohne Revision der Zahlen für 99 eher besser sein müßten.

Heute haben die shorties zum ersten mal seit längerer Zeit die Möglichkeit größere Stückzahlen einzudecken.
Meine Prognose für Morgen lautet bei einem aktuellen Kurs von 40,25$ zunächst schwaches Listing NM dann Kurse um 42-44 Euro am Nachmittag.

Ich betone nochmals mein Kursziel von 100$ bis Ende 2000

 

, werde dann wohl meine SCM Position morgen, wenn ich nicht noch etwas
gegenteiliges finde, ( heute abend wurde die Kauforder nicht
mehr ausgeführt ) morgen erweitern. Hatte ich eh schon länger vor.

Habe letztens einen Artikel über die Einführung und
Durchsetztung von Standards gelesen ( Fernseher, Handy, etc. )
und kann mir für SCM damit ( mit vielen, vielen wenn's)
bis 2008 eine Kursverdreißigfachung vorstellen.

Das klingt vielleicht Größenwahnsinnig, aber ein bißchen
Träumen ist ja erlaubt.

announced today that they have implemented Identix's newly introduced DFR 300(tm) optical fingerprint reader, developed by Motorola and Identix, into a PC
Card fingerprint reader for enhanced portable PC security.

BioTouch(tm) is a mobile computing solution that, when inserted in a portable's type II PC Card (PCMCIA) slot, enables one touch security for portable PC users.

Using SCM Microsystems' secured interfacing technology for PCMCIA and its own fingerprint authentication solutions, Identix has developed BioTouch. BioTouch
secures a portable PC and its contents by controlling access using Identix's BioLogon(tm) Security software to restrict access to Enterprise and Internet applications.

A BioTouch user simply presses the side of the device and out slides the fingerprint reader. The user places their finger on the small optical sensor and their finger is
matched to a previously enrolled account. When they are done, they just press the reader back into the PC Card and continue working -- no external cables are
required, the device is completely self-contained inside the PC Card.
