Not sure I agree that all people will avoid all public transportation. I can tell you that I definitely will not use subway or bus to get into the city but I would consider Uber or Lyft because I would be only person (other than driver) in vehicle. Driving into city myself would not be fun. IMHO

Bayer’s consumer health brand Redoxon has recently partnered with Malaysian cloud kitchen startup dahmakan to position itself as an immunity-boosting supplement brand. With every dahmakan meal ordered within Klang Valley, Redoxon gave consumers a pack of its product, Redoxon Double Action Orange Flavour, along with tips on staying healthy during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Redoxon also offered further discounts if the dahmakan consumer ordered Redoxon online through the QR code provided in the packet. Redoxon and dahmakan also promoted the campaign online on their respective Facebook pages. According to a press release, the campaign saw 48,000 packets delivered, a 200% increase in search intent for Redoxon for the first day of the activity, and over 560 eCommerce engagements.
The campaign came as Redoxon saw an increase of 30% in food delivery services during the MCO. The vitamin supplement brand also found consumers looking for ways to bolster their health during this period and took the opportunity to reach out to Malaysians.
“Redoxon’s role in this community is to protect and defend people’s health every day. We are glad to be able to partner with Dahmakan to bring health to people’s home during this MCO period," Vivienne Wang, marketing manager at Bayer Malaysia, said.

In New Zealand, Everledger is an advisor to the New Zealand Battery Industry Group (B.I.G.) regarding traceability and supply chain transparency for lithium-ion batteries. We’ve been working with B.I.G. to develop a circular product stewardship scheme for EV batteries, enabling the ability for them to be repurposed for energy storage. EV batteries may have around 70% to 80% of their capacity remaining when they reach the end of their useful life in a vehicle at about 10 years and can be repurposed for energy storage, extending life for another 10-15 years.
The battery value chain provides a fascinating test case for the supportive environment needed in a circular economy. Rapidly falling technology costs are creating major opportunities to reduce waste. For example, blockchain and IoT can keep track of valuable products and materials much more cheaply than in the past, radically increasing opportunities to recover them.
We’re moving towards a world where all materials will be traced from the moment they are extracted, through to first use, re-manufacture and eventual deconstruction and re-use. In the future, much of natural mining can be replaced by urban mining, where societies extract resources from previously manufactured products, such as the components inside an old mobile phone.

With Mobile business, we are now considered as the #4 player in Mobile business as MNO. We have fully virtualized technology, first in kind in the world, together with construction of radio stations and with fast constant acquisition and efficient investment is something that I'd like to mention. There used to be a concern whether we could start this business with the originally planned investment level.
First of all, technology. We learned after launch that increasing bandwidth capacity, because we are totally independent from hardware, thanks to full virtualization -- by increasing virtual machine, we can increase capacity of network as much as we want, IP version 6 virtualization technology, a first in kind in the world is quite significant. That would be good enough to stand against the explosive growth of the data consumption.

“We are proud to announce the disappearing messages feature launching in all 1-on-1 chats. Introduced by Viber in 2017 as part of the “secret” chats experience, over time we became convinced that a similar measure of ensuring confidentiality, including sending a notification when the recipient takes a screenshot of the disappearing message, should be added to regular chats. This marks another step in our journey towards being the safest messaging platform in the world,” said Ofir Eyal, COO of Viber.

“We look forward to closely working with Altiostar for our vRAN deployment which is a significant aspect of our network strategy,” added Sekhon.
“This collaboration with Bharti Airtel is exciting because the size and breadth of its network will demonstrate the innovation and the disruption that open vRAN solutions are bringing to the industry,” said Ashraf Dahod, president and CEO, Altiostar. “India is a mobile-first market that leads the world in mobile data and video consumption and by deploying Altiostar open vRAN solution, Bharti Airtel can evolve its network to maintain its leadership and continue its mission to provide customers with exceptional experiences.”

The operator is a member of the O-RAN alliance and made headlines for being one of the earliest members of Facebook’s Telecom Infra Project (TIP), a global initiative founded by Facebook and a handful of telecoms companies to create a new approach to building and deploying telecom network infrastructure.
For its part, Altiostar, in partnership with Cisco and WWT, has made efforts to develop a technology blueprint for RAN modernization, assemble the kit, test and validate the set up, then sell a fully integrated 4G/5G solution in an effort to drive operator adoption of this new network model.
