AVOD and FAST channel operator Rakuten TV has expanded its content offering in the UK with the rollout of five channels on the free premium content streaming service from LG Electronics, LG Channels.

CNN, Rakuten Stories, Comedy Movies, Action Movies and Drama Movies are available to watch on compatible LG smart TVs, offering a selection of localised content offering in each category.

Rakuten is already featured on LG Channels in five other European markets.

Rakuten TV now offers a total of 23 channels in the main European markets on the LG smart TV platform. Rakuten TV themed channels, Comedy, Action, Drama and Rakuten Stories are available with localised content in Spain, Germany, Italy, France and now also in the UK.

ein halbes Jahr länger Roaming-Fee's zahlen muss, weil u.a. wegen des Chip-Mangels die Netzabdeckung langsamer als erhofft stattfindet und dadurch vielleicht vorübergehend höhere Kosten von einer halben Milliarde US-Dollar entstehen - aber das ist bei der Größenordnung des Projekts nichts Dramatisches.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass die darüber verbreiteten Panikmeldungen an Eindruck verlieren und einfache sachlichen Darstellungen wie die in 7559 die Oberhand gewinnen. Ab wann dass dies im Kurs antizipiert wird? Ich gehe davon aus, dass das bald der Fall sein wird bzw. schon begonnen hat, denn bis Ende März, von wo an die Roaming-Gebühren nach und nach verschwinden und die Subscriptions bei Rakuten Mobile weiter angestiegen sind, ist ja nicht mehr weit hin.

A new quantum computer startup from Harvard, MIT raises $17M

OAKLAND, Calif (Reuters) - A new quantum computer startup born from researchers at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) called QuEra Computing said on Wednesday it raised $17 million from investors, including Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten Inc.
It's the latest quantum computer hardware maker to come out of the lab at a time when funding for the nascent technology is booming.

While there are various technologies for creating so-called quantum bits or qubits where the computations happen, QuEra's qubits use neutral atoms in a vacuum chamber and use lasers to cool and control them.

"From 2015 when we had an empty lab with nothing to 2017, the work that we were doing at Harvard and MIT, we were already at the stage where we could control 51 of these neutral atom qubits," said Alex Keesling, QuEra CEO and co-inventor of the technology. He said this technology was easy to scale up and that QuEra would have a 1000-qubit computer in two years. Today it has a 256-qubit machine, he said.

in den nächsten beiden Quartalen (Q4/21 und Q1/22) im Non-Financial Business  zusammen noch einmal ein negativer operativer Cash Flow von 600 Millionen US-Dollar anfällt und 900 Millionen Investitionen einen negativen Cash Flow in dieser Höhe produzieren, womit wir bei 1,5 Milliarden US-Dollar wären.

Die könnten zwar aus dem in 7568 angeführten Bestand von ca. 1,7 Milliarden US-Dollar gerade so finanziert werden, aber auch in Q2/22 dürfte man im Non-Financial-Business Bereich aus operating und investing zusammen noch keine positiven Zahlen produzieren, sodass die in 7568 angeführte weitere Kreditaufnahme sinnvoll ist.
