IBM and Palantir Technologies Inc are forging a new partnership to expand artificial intelligence applications for industries that manage high volumes of data.
What Happened: Next month, the companies will launch Palantir for IBM Cloud Pak for Data, a new product that incorporates Palantir's operations platform for building applications into IBM's hybrid cloud data platform.

Palantir will adopt IBM's Red Hat OpenShift to enable the product to run a hybrid cloud.

Why It's Important: According to the companies, Palantir for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is designed to help businesses reduce data silos by integrating data sources across hybrid cloud environments and better coordinating data in the AI lifecycle.

The product will offer a user-friendly "no-code/low-code" environment for building applications that use AI for data-driven decisions, enabling users to build and deploy AI applications with their data, and the product can complement existing enterprise systems.

What's Next: Palantir for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is being marketed to industries that manage higher-than-average quantities of data, including financial services, health care, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications.

"Our clients deliver products and services while operating in some of the most complex, fast-changing industries of the world," said Rob Thomas, senior vice president for the cloud and data Platform at Armonk, New York-headquartered IBM.

"Together, IBM and Palantir aim to make it easier than ever for businesses to put AI to work and become data-driven throughout their operations."

Palantir was founded in order to build software for the most criticial institutions, CEO Alex Karp said in a statement.

"Our partnership with IBM combines our forces to put our joint solution into the hands of the institutions and people who need it most and will propel the world's most critical institutions into an unprecedented new digital age. We share IBM's commitment to the adoption of responsible and ethical AI."

Vielen Dank für die zahlreichen Infos welche immer zeitnah von Euch bereitgestellt werden. Macht echt Spaß Eure Beiträge zu lesen - wenn das mal in anderen Foren auch mal der Fall wäre!  

Was meinst Du mit Lock-up periode? Der Börsengang erfolgte über Direktplazierung. Ob die derzeitige Bewertung angemessen ist, das mag jeder selbst beurteilen. Aber bashing wegen Lock-up periode, das ist bei Palantir schon etwas durchsichtig und wird keinen Erfolg haben . . .  

Wurde hier doch bereits mehrfach erwähnt. Es müsste 3 Tage nach Veröffentlichung der Quartalszahlen sein.

Also...Zahlen kommen am 16.02., ab Fr 19.02. wäre es dann soweit.

Danke für die Info und Klarstellung. Oftmals ist der Ausgabekurs künstlich hoch und der Kurs fällt bei Ablauf der Lock-up periode drastisch. Diese Gefahr sehe ich hier nicht und ich glaube auch nicht, dass das kursbestimmend sein wird. Eher ist relevant, welche Bedeutung und Perspektiven Palantir 2025 besitzt. Ist nur meine Meinung, aber ich glaube nicht, dass hier ein Altaktionär am 19.02 unbedingt raus will und es vorher nicht konnte. Aber schlechte Zahlen am 16.02.21 könnten natürlich Verkäufe auslösen und als Ausstieg von Altaktionären interpretiert werden. Ergäbe Nachkaufchancen.

..macht mir eher das Reddit-Volk, welches schon bei Yahoo Finances von "to the moon" und dem bekannten Quatsch wie bei GME und AMC redet.  

Schön zu sehen das ARK die Position step by step ausbaut. Kann dir leider immer noch keinen Stern geben ;-)  

Dann lass sie doch reden. Der Unterschied ist doch folgender: PLTR hat eine rosige Zukunft mit enormen Wachstumsperspektiven vor sich. Wie sieht es diesbezüglich bei GME oder AMC aus? Muss ich noch weiter drauf eingehen?  

Nein, natürlich ist das in keinster Weise vergleichbar. Mir wäre nur lieb, wenn es sich hier einfach gemütlich und stetig entwickeln könnte, ohne riesen Hype und Aufmerksamkeit.  

...was soll ich sagen. Schau mal bei Zebra Tech oder Five9 vorbei. ;)  

Kannst mir gerne via BM was zu den Werten schreiben. Will das Forum zu PLTR dafür nicht missbrauchen ;-) hatte aber beide bereits auf meiner WL, kann ansonsten aber nichts zur Story hinter den sehr schönen Charts sagen ;-)  

Palantir geht denselben Weg. Es braucht keine Charttechnik, nur gesunden Menschenverstand. Wo sind denn eigentlich die ganzen Pappnasen, die Korrektur gegrölt haben? Palantir macht einen Superjob, das ist wesentlich und hält Kurzzeitzocker ab. Und der tatsächlich momentane Marktwert lässt sich nicht mathematisch errechnen, auch wenn bei ariva so mancher so tut. Mir persönlich wäre es lieber, wenn es hier ruhiger wär.  

Palantir Technologies will am 16. Februar 2021 die Ergebnisse für das Geschäftsjahr 2020 vorlegen. Eine Lock-up Frist läuft drei Tage später aus, wodurch die verbleibenden 80 Prozent aller Aktien, die nicht zum Handel zugelassen sind, freigegeben werden.

 

Tu mir bitte einen Gefallen, einfach mal ein wenig hier in diesem Thread lesen. ALLES GESTERN ABEND erst erklärt...manchmal muss man auch mal etwas Eigenleistung hineinstecken in seine Invests/ angehenden Invests - und wenn es nur bedeutet etwas zu lesen. Wenn du dann konkrete fragen hast...frag gezielt. Nicht böse gemeint ;-)
