Diese Deckelorder wurde kurz nach dem 9. Sep. jeweils tagesgültig eingestellt.Ein Teil davon wurden am 20,23,26 u.27 Oct aus dem Ask gekauft.(rd.200K)

Die Restorder belief sich mit einem neuen VK immer noch auf rd. 500K.

Diese Order wurde vor 3 Tagen gelöscht u. akt. stehen nur noch 58K a 0,65 AUD im VK.  

Die Order war auch in den letzten Tagen drin. Auch heute Nacht. Sie wurde jeweils VOR Börsenende gecancelt.

Wenn in AU keiner diese Stückzahl kontrolliert ... wer versucht da und warum diese Stücke unterzubringen ?

THE Post-Courier distributor in Buka Sylvester Potsii was yesterday bashed in the company’s office at Hani’s Inn by a senior Autonomous Bougainville Government leader over audit reports published in the paper this week.
The reports detailed how the use of millions of kina belonging to the Buka Hospital was being investigated, including the “stale” contracts wasted on Bougainville.
Mr Potsii was on duty at the office yesterday.
Bougainville Technical Services chief executive officer John Kolan charged into the office at 2:25pm, demanding to see the bureau chief, screaming, shouting abuse, kicking the office door and walls. He pulled the office computer to take with him and disturbed the terminal communication connections.
Mr Potsii explained that bureau chief Gorethy Kenneth was out for an interview and that he was only the company’s distributor visiting the office to do some work.
Trainee student Zalle Ricky was typing stories while Mr Kolan attempted to pull the computer away. He ended up punching Mr Potsii on the face after being told the boss of the office was out and that he should come back to see her when he was sober.
Mr Kolan charged out of the office and brought back with him a team of three. They pulled Mr Potsii outside of the office and started fighting with him. Mr Potsii kept defending himself until they gave up and left.
The previous night, during the closing of the Joint Supervisory Body meeting at Kuri Village Resort attended and hosted by acting Prime Minister Sir Puka Temu and ABG President James Tanis, Mr Kolan shouted abusive language, calling the Post-Courier an “asshole” paper and also used other abusive language to the extent of charging for the Post-Courier journalists to pick a fight. He was angry over reports of millions of kina missing and the contracts allegedly wasted in the region.
On the day the report was published, Mr Kolan rang the Post-Courier to give his explanation of the story. His story was taken but in the night the journalists were called names and harassed and the paper labelled with many names.
Police have been given a report of assault, computer wire damage and abusive language used.
Mr Potsii is nursing a sore head while student Zalle Ricky is still traumatised over the incident in the Post-Courier office.

SEVERAL members of the Autonomous Bougainville Government have opposed
the engagement of an Australian media company contracted by the
Government.
The Government last week approved the engagement of Ipso-Facto
Productions to assist it do all its communication projects.
The Division of Media, Communication and Culture was directed to
officially formalise all arrangements with the company.
The Government also approved the release of K400,000 each from both
the Government Implementation Fund and the Joint Media Strategy 2010
funding to start on media projects while other payments will be made
later.
The ABG administration was directed to ensure that the company had
complied with PNG laws.

The Division of Commerce and Communications has been told to
immediately consult and look at the question of compliance with PNG
laws and discuss options on a joint venture.

Peit Constituency MP Lawrence Belleh has spoken against this, claiming
that they were not ready for this engagement, especially in the hotel
industry.
He went on air through Radio Bougainville speaking on behalf of other
MPs claiming that there would be chaos once they started working in
the region.
“Our concern is basically about tourists flocking into the region if
this media company starts marketing Bougainville. We are not ready,
our hotels are not up to standard and this will be chaotic.

“This is what I am concerned about. Why can’t we engage a local
company instead of an international company,” Mr Belleh said.
He said there were local companies like Elite Multi-Media productions
operating in the region that could do the same job.

The Government has endorsed the setting up of the national television
station Kundu 2 and an FM radio network in Buka and Arawa.
It approved K498,000 towards the immediate setting up of the
communication services for the benefit of the people of Bougainville.

The Government directed the ABG administration through the division of
Communications to immediately consult with the National Broadcasting
Corporation and look at options on joint venture and investment in the
communication and media services.

Das JSB Meeting hat also stattgefunden.

Dass noch keine konkreten Ergebnisse veröffentlicht wurden, genauso wie bei dem Besuch von Tanis in AU (bei dem er nachweislich mit Rio konferiert hat) u. letzte Woche in GB ( zu dem auch Peter Taylor angereist war) könnte auch damit zusammenhängen dass der Landownersbody noch nicht gewählt ist.

Zum Jahresende läuft das Worldbank Programm für die B' viller Mineral Resources Authority aus,ab Januar sollte die MRA dann operationell sein.

Ariva hat sich Spitzenstellung erobert!



Nachdem in früheren Jahren wallstreet:online stets die Rangliste der meistfrequentierten Bougainville Copper Threads anführte, hat sich das Bild seit einiger Zeit komplett verändert: Ariva hat nun erfolgreich die Rolle der Nummer 1 unter den Diskussionsforen zu unserer Aktie übernommen. Das ergibt sich aus der Analyse der ESBC-Nutzerdaten. Das ist besonders deshalb zu begrüßen, da dieser Thread weitaus kundenfreundlicher gemanagt wird. Vorbei die Zeiten, in denen sich genervte Diskutanten mit den Beleidigungen anderer Forenteilnehmer auseinandersetzen mussten, die mutmaßlich von willkürlichen w:o Moderatoren wie "Maatmod" und Konsorten protegiert wurden. Vorbei auch die Zeiten, in denen dümmliche wallstreet:online Bedienstete versuchten, das ESBC Präsidium mit der Androhung "rechtlicher Schritte" gefügig zu machen. Wohin es führt, wenn arrogante und selbstverliebte w:o Moderatoren versuchen, den Threadteilnehmern die freie Meinungsäusserung beschneiden und sogar ganze unliebsame Threadpassagen löschen, zeigt der Börsenkurs der Aktie der wallstreet:online AG überdeutlich. Erstaunlich nur, dass die Hamburger Axel-Springer AG, die Hauptaktionär von w:o ist, solch unternehmensschädigendem Treiben der Angestellten in einem Beteiligungsunternehmen keinen Einhalt gebietet.



Deshalb empfehlen die ESBC derzeit ihren Mitgliedern, den Gedankenaustausch vorzugsweise auf Ariva zu verfolgen, da er informationsreicher und interessanter ist als sein wallstreet:online Pendant.



Ganz nebenbei: Die verschlafene wallstreet:online Riege hat bis zum heutigen Tag nicht gemerkt, dass Bougainville Copper ADRs vom Markt verschwunden sind. Ein weiteres Indiz dafür, wie professionell in Berlin gearbeitet wird!

THE AUTONOMOUS Bougainville Government last Friday reluctantly passed its K173 million 2010 Budget despite reservations of the K15 million let down in the National Government’s 2010 Budget allocation to the region.
Treasurer Mathias Salas presented the Budget which was passed by the ABG cabinet and the Bougainville Executive Council, later tabled in the region’s House of Representatives at Kubu in Buka.
The Budget was made up of the K63 million allocated by the National Government to the ABG in its 2010 National Budget and also included in this money plan as outlined in the summary were:
* Internal Revenue K10,540,000.
* National Governments grants K98,862,500.
* Re-appropriated National Government Program (DSIP) K12,000,000.
* Re-appropriated ABG programs (2009 PIP) K8,610,000.
* Balance of funds carried forward (2008 PIP) K4,820.000.
* Balance of funds carried forward (2008 recurrent) K900,000.
* Donor K37,105,000.
ABG’s budget for 2010 was K172,837,800.
Cabinet members were reluctant to pass the 2010 budget during the ABG House final sitting for 2009.
The unwillingness of some members of the house in passing the budget was based on the fear that the National Government may not honor its commitment to giving the ABG the K15 million for its restoration and development program.
The non-allocation of this funding by the National Government has led to the Finance Minister Mathias Salas issuing a press statement expressing ABG’s disappointment over the issue. In presenting the region’s budget Mr Salas announced that the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Prime Minister Sir Dr Puka Temu had assured the ABG leadership that this funding would be given to the ABG and would be prioritised in the supplementary budget in March 2010.
Mr Salas described the allocation as a significant boost to the development efforts being implemented in Bougainville.
He said this budget was not the same as the Government’s earlier budgets that focused on recovery from the effects of the Bougainville conflict while at the same time implementing a new Government.
Mr Salas said the restoration and development program with direct funding from the National Budget were some of the first steps in implementing ABG’s initiatives to rebuild and revitalise the economy and broaden the economic base in Bougainville. Some of these initiatives included the oil palm project in Torokina and the introduction and promotion of coffee as an alternative cash crop for the people of Bougainville. The rural electrification program would also be applied in 2010. It is seen as a high impact project. Mr Salas said the Government’s main task is to put the economy of the region on broad footing, which, at present is narrow-based.
The members agreed to pass the budget and urged the executive government and the administration to follow up on the K15 million assurances to make sure it is appropriate in the supplementary budget in March 2010.
The March budget session would also be the last sitting for this government before facing the people in the election.

Bougainville to look for financial assistance with staging election

The electoral commission in the autonomous Papua New Guinea province of Bougainville is to seek help from aid donors, such as Australia and New

Zealand, to assist with its election next year.

The second election for the ABG is set down for next April and May and it’s budgetted to cost more than two point one million US dollars.

The acting provincial administrator, Raymond Masono, says the ABG has already released about a third of this to cover the compilation of the rolls and raise awareness about the new limited preference voting system.

He says they hope to received additional assistance from the national Electoral Commission and will be approaching aid donors.

Sagt mal: Diesem Invincible Resources gehören doch 70 percent control of the Bogenvil Resource Development Corporation - oder? Versucht scheinbar jetzt mit der Produktion bzw. der Ankündigung einer Produktion von Biodiesel in Arawa Fuß zu fassen. Ich dachte diese Invincible Geschichte war vom Tisch. Andererseits kann ich mir vorstellen, dass Kokusöl mehr Hoffnung gibt, als der vom Schädling befallene Kakao.

More ‘powers’ for Bougainville govt

THE joint supervisory board (JSB) has agreed to transfer five symbolic powers and functions to the Autonomous Bougainville Government as part of the drawing down of powers from the National Government.  
The agreement followed resolutions passed during the last JSB meeting for this year that was held in Buka last Tuesday.
It had been noted by the JSB that a draft National Executive Council (NEC) submission had been made for the transfer of these powers and it had already been approved by the State Solicitor which is expected to be submitted to the NEC.
Consideration was also given to the proposed transfer of mineral resource and policing powers and functions to the Bougainville government.
Issues in relation to the non-renewable minerals, mining, oil and gas, had been deferred to the next JSB meeting to enable the Bougainville executive council to consider the 15 indicated steps in the agreement process.
With the transfer of policing powers, a working group of relevant National Government and ABG agencies would be engaged to oversee and identify the powers and functions of the police on Bougainville as part of the efforts to achieve a “greater autonomy” in policing arrangements in Bougainville.
The JSB also discussed the preparation for referendum which called for a working group made of senior ABG officials as well as representatives from the National Electoral Commission to examine constitutional, administrative and financial matters that may determine the initial outcome of Bougainville’s referendum.
At the official dinner hosted by the ABG to end the meeting, president of the autonomous region, James Tanis, congratulated the ABG and the National Government for reaching a consensus.
“Although we have gone through tough times often reaching a deadlock, I am happy that we now have come to an understanding,” Mr Tanis said.
Deputy Prime Minister Sir Dr Puka Temu shared the same sentiments, saying that Bougainville would remain a priority with the National Government.

Die Zusage der Uebertragung der Rechte an Bougainville, selbstbestimmt über Mining zu entscheiden liegt vor.

Die Bedingungen:

-Weapons Disposal (so gut wie abgeschlossen,auch wenn es wie überall vereinzelt noch illegale Waffen gibt)

-Reconciliations müssen abgeschlossen sein.

Z.Zt. läuft also alles nach Plan,auch wenn es etwas länger dauert als von uns erwartet.

Wenn alles weiter so klappt steht der Wiedereröffnung der Pangunamine nichts mehr im Wege u. BCL könnte die "Aktie des Jahres 2010" werden ;-)))))))

Kurios dass kleinere Tauschaktionen relativ "schnell" über die Bühne gingen,man sich bei grösseren Positionen aber unverhältnismässig lange Zeit lässt.

Durchaus denkbar dass wir nach dem Ende der Tauschfrist eine angenehme Ueberraschung in Form eines Short-squeeze erleben werden ;-)))))))))  

Kann mir das mal jemand näher erklären? Weshalb "short-squeeze"? am Ende der Tauschfrist?

Hatte gestern auch mal bei ConSors nachgefragt, warum der Umtausch nun schon 2 Monate dauert:

"Die Frist zur Weisungserteilung läuft noch bis zum 11.01.2010. Erst danach wird ein Umtausch vorgenommen. "

Das wird spannend, das Jahr 2010 könnte positiv starten!!!  

Meine 84.000 ADR`s wurden bei Consors innerhalb 6 Wochen in Orginale getauscht  

schon interessant,

der unterschiedliche Umgang der Banken mit dem ADR-Tausch,

insbesondere der Umgang derselben Banken mit unterschiedlichen Kunden,

warum gibt es bei einigen zeitliche Verzögerungen, während bei anderen alles flott und glatt geht,

für einen Squeeze-Out spricht das jedenfalls nicht,

und was die Gebühren betrifft, da ist das letzte Wort noch nicht gesprochen, (kleiner Hinweis an nekro - ok., ich warte dann mal ab, aber mit dem Jahresabschluss ist das Thema für mich damit eigentlich durch),

In den späten 80 ern und Anfang der 90 er liehen sich die Ami Banken eine enorm grosse Anzahl Bougainville Copper Aktien von ihren australischen Kollegen,konvertierten sie  in ADRs welche dann auf dem amerikanischen und deutschen Markt landeten (zu Kursen von 5-7 AUD).Normalerweise hätten diese geliehenen Aktien nach USA transferiert u. beim Konvertierenden  hinterlegt werden müssen.Diese Transferts wurden jedoch nicht ausgeführt.Als die ASX dem Schwindel auf die Spur kam erliess sie die ASX Rule 19.5 ( als BOC Rule bezeichnet) welche die Shortpositionen in an der ASX gelisteten Firmen auf 10% der Marketcap begrenzen soll.(immerhin 40 Millionen Stück) Dass die ASX hier aktiv wurde lässt darauf schliessen dass weit mehr als 40 Millionen Shares short waren.

Ein kleiner Hinweis auf die mögliche Grösse der Shortpositionen ergibt sich aus der Antwort von Lisa Hayes von JPM.Diese antwortete auf eine Mailanfrage dass JPM über 5 Millionen ADRs ausgegeben hat,aus dem BOC GB geht jedoch hervor dass JPM in AU nur ca. 2.3 Mio Originale hält,was einer Unterdeckung von rd. 60% entspräche.Insgesamt halten die ADR ausgebenden Banken in AU rd. 85 Mill. Shares (in der Major Shareholderliste im GB Pos. 3-6) Wenn sich dort die Shortquote in vergleichbarer Höhe befindet so wäre sie grösser als der gesamte restliche BOC Freefloat.

Dass sich in Bougainville die Situation in Richtung Wiedereröffnung der Pangunamine bewegt dürfte auch den Banken nicht verborgen geblieben sein und so könnte eine Risiko- bzw. Verlustbegrenzung aus den Shortpositionen ein möglicher Grund für die überstürzte  Einstellung des ADR Programms sein.(In der Hoffnung  sich die nicht zum Tausch eingereichten  ADRs billig unter den Nagel reissen zu können.)Wenn das nicht reicht bleibt den Banken nur die Möglichkeit ihre Shortpositionen durch Zukäufe über die Börse zu decken was einen gigantischen Short-Squeeze zur Folge hätte.

Das sind natürlich Spekulationen,etwas Klarheit dazu wird wohl die Major Shareholderliste im nächsten Geschäftsbericht bingen.

PS:Eine interessante Frage ist:Wer hat in AU 500 Mill Shares welche zum deckeln bei 0,65 AUD im Ask stehen?
Ausser den ADR Banken wohl nur RIO und PNG

Vielleicht hängt es von der Grösse der zu tauschenden Position ab,so dass viele relativ kleine Stückzahlen sofort getauscht werden und bei grösseren solange gewartet wird bis man sich die nicht zum Tausch eingereichten ADRs gesichert hat was wiederum ein Hinweis auf eine Unterdeckung mit Originalen wäre ;-))))))))

Bougainville loses a leader

THE people of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville are mourning the death of one of their leader who passed away yesterday.
The late minister for natural resources Dr Benedict Pisi passed away at his residence on Sohano Island yesterday afternoon after a long illness.
He was admitted at the Pacific International Hospital in Port Moresby earlier and discharged only last week.
Dr Pisi was appointed minister for natural resources by the Autonomous Bougainville Government president James Tanis, a portfolio he held until his untimely death.
Dr Pisi played a leading role in uniting the Panguna landowners under one association and one executive.
Bougainville’s acting president Ezekiel Masat said the region had lost one of its great leaders.
Tragedy struck Dr Pisi’s family when he lost his mother, brother and sister early this year.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
Dr Pisi began his primary education at Panguna then progressed to Arawa High School and did his university studies at the University of Papua New Guinea and further studies in Russia.
Government officials and relatives are working out a programme for a memorial service.

wieso sollte man denn sich "die nicht zum Tausch eingereichten ADRs gesichert" haben, die wären dann doch ziemlich ungesichert, da beißt sich die Katze doch in den Schwanz,

im übrigen, die sich hier äußerden ESB-Mitglieder hatten doch noch kein Probleme mit dem Umtausch,

an echte Probleme glaube ich erst bei Nachweiss,

des weiteren sei noch angefügt, nur der Vollstängigkeitshalber, dass auch die Comdirect sich kurz vor Jahresabschluss noch gezwungen gesehen hat, die Tauschgebühren zu erheben,

wenn auch leicht anders als abgekündigt,
