Released: 10/10/08 09:00 AM EDTSeaway Valley Capital Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SWYV) (“Seaway Valley”) (www.seawayvalleycapitalcorp.com) chairman and chief executive officer, Thomas W. Scozzafava, announced today that Seaway Valley has retained Brian Hill to advise the company on the operations of its restaurant, lodging, and brewing holdings. “We are pleased to have been able to bring Mr. Hill in to help execute the Company’s hospitality growth strategy,” Mr. Scozzafava stated. He continued, “The fact that he has previously been selected by his peers to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association is validation that Mr. Hill is highly regarded by his peers. We welcome him to Seaway.”
Mr. Hill stated, “I am pleased to be able to work with Seaway Restaurant Group and Sackets Harbor Brewing Company, as I feel they have tremendous potential for success. The restaurant concepts and the retail brands already have earned a great regional following, and what makes this exciting is the national growth potential.” Mr. Hill continued, “For example, 1812 Amber Ale received rave reviews at the National Restaurant Association Trade show in Chicago this past May. The NRA show is the largest hospitality show in the nation, and for 1812 Amber Ale to earn a top spot in that show indicates its great promise.”

Mr. Hill earned individual gold medals in culinary competitions and has served as president of multiple restaurant franchise systems. Hacketts in Sackets OK'd for changes started in July
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2008
ARTICLE OPTIONS
A A A SACKETS HARBOR — Hacketts department store received final approval from the Planning Board on Wednesday night for the changes it began without a permit in July.
Those changes included a staircase on the front of the building at 213 W. Main St. that extended 4 feet, 6 inches into village property. The village Board of Trustees gave the store a revocable license for the stairs at its meeting Tuesday night. Language will be worked out to remove the village from liability.
"In the past, we've done some revocable licenses," Mayor Michael R. Kinnie said Tuesday night. "We can, at any time, revoke the license with proper notice."
Other revocable licenses in the village include Karen's at the Boathouse, 214 W. Main St.

Hello,
i am a shareholder of Seaway Valley Capital Corporation SWVC / SWYV and i wish that you investigate what is happening there.
I got your email adress of other shareholders of SWVC.
I do believe that the CEO (Thomas Scozzafava) is NOT acting in the Shareholders best interest.
All you received from other shareholders already is plain enought to see whats going on...i do not want to add something.
My loss is 8 thousand euros already on paper....99.X% where the CEO Thomas Scozzafava promised buybacks and or dividents...and debt repayments.
There was a legacy debt missed of 500k $ which brought the stock down and this guy even signed more Convertible debentures in the same time he promised that legacy debt dilution will subside shortly among that the legacy debt is FULLY SATISFIED !!!
That was in January 2008 where my investment still was worth a Hamburger after the dilution occured...then a Reverse Split and as of today we have 100% more stock than pre R/S .
Today my investment of 8k Euros isn't even worth a Chewing Gum anymore.
I cannot believe how we got tricked on this one because we (the Shareholderbase) had invested millions and millions of Dollars...enough to live without Convertible debentures..
I do believe Thomas Scozzafava works together with YA Yorkville aka Cornell and he doenst care a BIT about the money of hard working people which trust he has MISUSED Bigtime !
Hope you are investigate this for the best interest of the Shareholders.
Kind Regards,
