Coalition for Luggage Security Comments on Thwarted, Wide Scale Terrorist Plot Utilizing Luggage at British Airports
2006-08-10 10:14 ET - News Release
NEW YORK -- (Business Wire) -- Aug. 10, 2006
Company Website: http://www.usxp.com
The Coalition for Luggage Security today commented on
the thwarted, wide scale terrorist plots at British Airports. British
Authorities arrested 21 people in connection with the plot which
involved plans to smuggle liquid explosives on to numerous planes in
carry on luggage.

Numerous airports across Britain were possibly targeted and the
British security alert has been raised to "Critical," the highest
security alert in Britain meaning an attack is imminent. Some
electronics and even drinks are being banned from flights due to the
nature of the liquid explosives utilized in today's terrorist plot.
The United States has also raised its air security alert to "Red," its
highest security level ever used at airports, and banned liquids
carried onto aircraft.
"As terrorists continue to arise in greater numbers, with
increasing deadlier plots to board planes with explosives, it's an
'absolute' necessity for the United States, and other countries to
start listening to private sector solutions, such as ours to keep
luggage off of passenger planes as can be seen in our white paper,
'More Safety, Less Hassle for American Travelers: A Private Sector
Solution'
said Richard A. Altomare, Founder and President of the Coalition for
Luggage Security, and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB:USXP).
"The simple plan that adds revenue to airlines, decreases
potential terrorist attacks and adds convenience and security for
passengers has taken too long to implement. Billions have been spent
on so-called sophisticated machines and tens of thousands of TSA
Security personal in airports where waiting lines mount, services
decrease and fear rules the airline industry, and our own government.
Even though the bombs were never detonated, the terror factor has once
again crept in to our daily lives. How long will it be before we take
our airports back?"
"The Coalition for Luggage Security's goal is to create safer
skies, happier passengers, shorter lines, and profitable airlines. The
services are currently available to accommodate this plan and could
save thousands of passengers from an imminent attack on our way of
life, here and around the world," concluded Mr. Altomare.
