Gary Moore - Empty Rooms
(Gary Moore/Neil Carter)
Loneliness is your only friend.
A broken heart that just won't mend
is the price you pay.
It's hard to take when love grows old.
The days are long and the nights turn cold
when it fades away.
You hope that she will change her mind,
but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
You see her face in every crowd.
You hear her voice, but you're still proud,
so you turn away.
You tell yourself that you'll be strong.
But your heart tells you,
this time you're wrong.
You hope that she will change her mind,
but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
All alone in an empty room.
Lonliness is your only friend, hooh.
Oh, she's gone and you're at the end.
Gary Moore - I Have Found My Love In You
I can still remember
Like it was yesterday
The pain inside my heart
As you turned to walk away
I don`t know, I don`t care
What the people say
I don`t know, I don`t care
I love you anyway
For I have found my love in you
And I have found a love so true
I can still remember
Like it was just the other day
I could have done without those stories
While you`re so far away
I don`t know, I don`t care
What my friends all say
I don`t know, I don`t care
I love you anyway
For I have found my love in you
And I have found a love so true
Ooh that first sweet night together
I will remember it forever
I put my heart on the line
Though I knew I was wrong, I would keep holding on
Do you still remember
All those times ago
When you lay like a flame in my arms
And I could never let you go
For I have found my love in you
And I have found a love so true
Yes, I have found my love in you
And I have found a love so true
ok. mM

Gary Moore - Whiskey In The Jar
As I was a goin' over the far famed Kerry mountains
I met with captain Farrell and his money he was counting
I first produced my pistol and I then produced my rapier
Saying "Stand and deliver" for he were a bold deceiver
Chorus:
Mush-a ring dum-a do dum-a da
Wack fall the daddy-o, wack fall the daddy-o
There's whiskey in the jar
I counted out his money and it made a pretty penny
I put it in me pocket and I took it home to Jenny
She sighed and she swore that she never would deceive me
But the devil take the women for they never can be easy
(Chorus)
I went up to my chamber, all for to take a slumber
I dreamt of gold and jewels and for sure 't was no wonder
But Jenny blew me charges and she filled them up with water
Then sent for captain Farrell to be ready for the slaughter
(Chorus)
't was early in the morning, just before I rose to travel
Up comes a band of footmen and likewise captain Farrell
I first produced me pistol for she stole away me rapier
I couldn't shoot the water, so a prisoner I was taken
(Chorus)
Now there's some take delight in the carriages a rolling
and others take delight in the hurling and the bowling
but I take delight in the juice of the barley
and courting pretty fair maids in the morning bright and early
(Chorus)
If anyone can aid me 't is my brother in the army
If I can find his station in Cork or in Killarney
And if he'll go with me, we'll go rovin' through Killkenny
And I'm sure he'll treat me better than my own a-sporting Jenny
(Chorus)
Geht ungefähr so:
Da dat di daaam, da da daaam, da dat di dam, da daaam
Da dat di daaam, da dam daaaam, da di dam da di daam. Kann da jemand was mit anfangen??
Danach erstmal Still got the Blues und Parisienne Walkways angehört.
