investorplace ...."For example, let’s use analysts’ estimates for 2022 projected revenue. According to Seeking Alpha, their average 2022 sales forecast is $8.84 billion. Yahoo! Finance has an estimate of $8.78 billion. .. analysts have raised their forecasts by 11.33% in the space of one month. That is partly why NIO is worth more and it’s moving up....The bottom line is that Nio is worth on average $82.65 billion. This implies that it’s worth 13.6% above its $72.75 billion market value today. The equivalent value for NIO stock is $49.98 per share, i.e., 13.6% above today’s price (June 9) of $44."

"NIO: The company continues to rapidly grow sales inside China, the largest automotive market globally, and the one with the most potential for EVs. But NIO has also recently announced plans to move into Europe, which is also a huge market. What was once a stock with a market capitalization approaching $100 billion has dropped about 25%. That doesn't make it cheap, but with what looks like a business that can grow for decades, it's one that could justify a higher-risk investment.
Vehicle deliveries increased by 113% in 2020 compared to the prior year. But for the first quarter of 2021, NIO delivered 20,060 vehicles representing an increase of 423% year over year. Like many other automakers, the company's production has recently been hit by the global semiconductor chip shortage. But assuming that will be a short-term impact, there's plenty more to look forward to. ..."

In his latest Global EV report, Rakesh stated, “We see NIO’s value leadership in the premium EV segment with solid battery technology and ADAS roadmaps as drivers of growth. Its core business, focused in domestic China, is another advantage with regulatory support and market familiarity. Global expansion is in the works and we believe will become a meaningful contributor to future growth.”
Consensus among analysts is a Strong Buy based on 8 unanimous Buys. The NIO average analyst price target stands at $61.91 and implies upside potential of 37% to current levels. Shares have gained 7% over the past six months.
the new plant is expected to start manufacturing in the third quarter of 2022. The news was confirmed by CEO William Li at a recent event in China. Once the factory starts running, it will propel Nio’s available production capacity to about 20,000 vehicles per month, from a maximum of 10,000 currently. Additionally, the company provided its May delivery update stating that deliveries climbed 95.3% year-over-year to 6,711 vehicles,
Chinese electric car company NIO's flagship sedan ET7, released earlier in the year, is equipped with a number of advanced technologies, LiDAR being one of them. At a recent event, Innovusion, the supplier of that LiDAR, provided more details about it.
Innovusion's LiDAR, developed in collaboration with NIO, will be a "high-performance product" with a 120-degree ultra-wide viewing angle and ultra-high resolution that can detect up to 500 meters, company co-founder and CEO Bao Junwei said at the recent China Auto Bluebook Forum.
"LiDAR, in conjunction with other sensors, ensures the safety and reliability of autonomous driving," he said...."
