RF Code Integrates its Wire-Free Environmental Sensors into APC NetBotz Solution
Extends RF Code’s Leadership in Providing Market’s Most Open Platforms for Real-Time Asset and Environmental Monitoring
RF Code, Inc., provider of ”wire-free” adaptive asset management solutions that cut operating and capital expenses, announced it has fully integrated its real-time, wire-free environmental monitoring solution into the APC NetBotz solution. The move makes it easy for APC customers to incorporate wire-free, real-time environmental monitoring of temperature, humidity, liquid detection, as well as other critical environmental monitoring points, into their existing NetBotz systems.
RF Code’s wire-free approach to monitoring makes it possible to deploy such a solution in locations that may be too complex for wired sensors. Often, the high cost and invasive nature of cabling or wiring traditional sensors prohibits a facility from fully implementing environmental monitoring. This can result in monitoring gaps throughout a site. Wire-free sensors solve this deployment and cost dilemma by providing the flexibility to install small, cost-effective sensors wherever and whenever needed.
The solution is ideal for IT areas that house critical IT assets, including data centers and remote IT closets and IT rooms.
”Today’s news follows on the heels of several other integration announcements we’ve made to help customers increase the value of their existing IT investments,” said Chris Gaskins, vice president, Product Development, RF Code. ”Our goal is to make it easy for organizations to benefit from wire-free real-time monitoring by removing barriers to integration to the industry’s most widely used monitoring platforms.”
About the Integration
The integration is available through any of the RF Code software solutions that manage and monitor asset information captured by RF Code active RFID tags and readers, including Asset Manager, Sensor Manager and Zone Manager.
The integration uses the APC NetBotz pod sharing capabilities, which allows the APC NetBotz appliances to connect to the RF Code software. Once the link is established via a TCP/IP connection, each RF Code sensor is available as a remote device for the NetBotz appliance and can be ”shared” just like remote sensor pods on other NetBotz appliances. For more detailed information about the integration, click here.
Among the real-time, wire-free sensor capabilities APC NetBotz users can now add to their existing monitoring system are:
Door sensors that immediately alert when a door is opened or closed
Dry contact sensors that instantly report the status of dry contact devices such as chillers
Fluid sensors that provide real-time alerting about the presence of conducive liquids that threaten IT assets
Temperature sensors and combined temperature/humidity sensors that monitor those environmental conditions in real time

The Company’s Flo•Point™ instrument was designed for the oil industry to measure the volumetric presence of water produced during crude oil extraction allowing for real time monitoring.

Also ESI!

Das hat ESI schon im PDF "Management Discussion and Analysis for the Nine months ended December 31, 2013" bestätigt. Dort heisst es auf Seite 6 von 10: "The first quarterly period of fiscal 2014 demonstrated a marked increase in sales revenue."
Ich hoffe da kommt nochmal was hinzu ;-)
Jetzt nicht nachlassen ESI.
