Despite the fact that Kodak is largely out of the film business, it is still active in making film for motion pictures, and the company says it has just reached an agreement with 20th Century Fox to supply film for its movie and television studios.
With the signing of the agreement, Kodak has now completed new contracts with six major Hollywood studios in the last year.
Kodak officials say the latest agreement shows that film is still important for studios who are creating a variety of content for a global audience. The company says it continues to make billions of linear feet of film every year.

Eastman Kodak Co. announced Monday it has reached an agreement with 20th Century Fox to supply film to the company’s movie and television studios.
With the deal, 20th Century Fox joins a list of other major film studios with which Kodak has reached updated supply agreements. The other studios include Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc., NBC Universal Inc. and Paramount Pictures Corp.
“This is great news for our business,” said Andrew Evenski, president and general manager of Kodak’s Entertainment & Commercial Films Division, in a statement. “This agreement shows that this medium remains vital for studios and artists creating a variety of content for a global audience. Kodak is honored to continue supporting Fox and their content creation, distribution and archival needs.”
Kodak said it continues to manufacture billions of linear feet of film each year.
