United Mining Group, Inc. ("UMG" or the
"Company") (TSX:UMG)(OTCQX:UMGZF)(FRANKFURT:UM8)
is pleased to announce that its
previously reported $4.3 million drilling program has received initial results from the Alhambra
Zone on its surface program at the Crescent Silver Mine project, located near Kellogg, Idaho.
Surface drilling for the lateral extension of the South Zone has commenced and underground
exploration drilling on the vertical South Zone is scheduled to commence in mid May.
In 2010, UMG acquired 973 acres of exploration lands adjoining, and immediately west and
northeast of the Crescent deposit, increasing landholdings by approximately 265% (see news
releases dated October 12, 2010 and December 14, 2010). The western block contains the onstrike
extension of the silver‐bearing veins at the Crescent deposit. The acquisition of these
lands provides a high‐priority exploration target for the Company, and an aggressive drill
program has been planned (see news release dated March 17, 2011).
Geologic mapping and surface drilling of the new, western claim block has commenced on
schedule despite late‐season snow cover. To date, four diamond drill holes, varying between
714 feet and 970 feet in total depth, have intersected the Alhambra fault in the vicinity of the
historic Dawn adit. The Dawn adit is a shallow working located about 2000’ west of the
identified Alhambra resource. Historic sampling of the Dawn adit reported an average silver
grade of 12 ounces per ton silver over an average vein width of 2.6 feet for 53 feet along the

Die Crescent-Silbermine liegt zwischen zwei außergewöhnlich reichhaltigen Silberlagerstätten, den Sunshine- und Bunker Hill-Minen, mit einer Silberproduktion von ca. 500 Mio. Unzen. Die Crescent-Silbermine war bisher der Produzent mit dem höchsten Edelmetallgehalt in der Region und ist eine der wenigen Liegenschaften im Silver Belt, die noch äußerst prospektiv, zugleich aber relativ wenig exploriert und abgebaut ist. Zwischen 1917 und 1981 produzierte die Crescent-Silbermine, als sie der Bunker Hill Mining Co. gehörte, 25 Mio. Unzen Silber aus vier Haupt-Erzstrukturen mit einem durchschnittlichen Silbergehalt von 27,3 Unzen/Tonne (National Instrument 43-101-Bericht von SRK Consulting vom 1. März 2010). Von 2007 bis 2009 erfolgte ein Explorationsaufwand von ca. 13,5 Mio. CAD durch die neuen Eigentümer, mit Fokus auf nur zwei Mineralstrukturen, der Alhambra- und der South-Erzader. Das Ergebnis war eine indizierte Ressource von 6,1 Mio. Unzen Silber (324.000 Tonnen mit einem Silbergehalt von 18,7 Unzen/Tonne) und eine abgeleitete Ressource von 4,1 Mio. Unzen Silber (211.000 Tonnen mit einem Silbergehalt von 19,5 Unzen/Tonne). Die Schätzungen für die aktuelle Lagerstätte berücksichtigen nur Mineralisierungsgehalte

(Wahrscheinlich genau zwischen Silver-City und Silver-River- hehe)
Ob es das 2Grösste ist? - Keine Ahnung und spielt auch keine übergeordnete Rolle bei einer MK von unter 5 Mio€.

Da braucht man doch nur 1 und 1 zusammenzählen und die Kurse von Goldfinder und United Silver haben entsprechend reagiert (+14% bzw +6% )
Steht für mich außer Frage, die beiden werden von dem neuen zukünftigen "premier silver producer" geschluckt und die Mining Service Division von United Silver baut die Mine.

Bin mir absolut sicher, daß hier hinter den Kulissen Intrigen gesponnenwerden ohne Ende. Denk nur an den Link den du mir geschickt hattes: ...there are a lot of snakes in Silver Valley !
Greenway ist erstmal weg vom Fenster, lief alles ziemlich geräuschlos ab und Neil Lindner (der neue Boß der auch zuletzt erst angeheuert wurde) hat die Crescent seinerzeit für SNS ähh... "hust" aquiriert.
