Scrawny The management at Calypte have dodged this direct question for years.

They will not put it down an in black and white what the production costs will be.

They cost just to produce lab urine tests in the past were 2 times the amount of sales and that was before thy added in millions and millions in S,G,and E cost.

Now they are adding three new patent holders to pay and taking over a failed Chinese plant and they suddenly will be profitable.

Its the Calypte "Smoke and Mirrors " Show.

The first quarter that HIV turns a profit and Dr. Richard George and Richard Brounstein actually own any stock and elect, like most corporate officers, to serve on the Board of Directors, I will publicly admit that I was wrong.

Till then it is still the a same old, same old.

Should be some really interesting SEC filings before Halloween.

Calypte Appoints Gestlab as Distributor in Mozambique
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Calypte Biomedical Corporation (Amex: HIV) today announced that it has appointed Gestlab Lda as its exclusive distributor in Mozambique.

In collaboration with Gestlab, Calypte expects to begin the regulatory evaluation process for its Aware(TM) rapid tests in October. The three rapid HIV tests, Aware HIV-1/2 BSP (blood), Aware HIV-1/2 OMT (oral fluid), and Aware HIV-1/2 U (urine), will be evaluated in these studies. In conjunction with this collaboration, Gestlab has begun commercializing other Calypte assays, including the BED Incidence EIA test.

Dr. Richard George, President and CEO of Calypte stated, "In short order, Gestlab has shown itself to be a very eager and focused distributor. They are facilitating the regulatory process for our Aware(TM) tests as aggressively as possible, and in the interim, are already ordering those Calypte products that can be marketed without prior registration. The HIV situation in Mozambique is acute, and Gestlab already plays an active role in helping its country control the disease. Calypte believes that some or all of its assays will be able to play a dominant role in the nation's response to the epidemic."

Rui Gomes da Costa, President of Gestlab, added, "We believe that affordably-priced non-invasive tests such as the Aware(TM) HIV-1/2 oral fluid and urine tests will permit non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to carry out their research programs in a more user friendly way. This type of innovation will always position us as leaders, through tapping into our strengths and enabling the projects to run smoothly. Mozambique has an official prevalence of 14% with around 500 new infections every day."

Mozambique, with a population of just under 20 million, has an estimated 1.3 million HIV infections, according to the UNAIDS 2004 Report on the Global AIDS Epidemic.

mal wieder so eine warmduschermeldung. mal gucken, wie lange es hier dauert, bis die testergebnisse wieder kommen? wahrscheinlich kommen diese erst im märz 06...

wo bleibem die umsätze?

diese warmduschermeldung hat euch ersteinmal die 0,27 gerettet.
was momentan wieder abläuft ist pump and dump. mal sehen, wieviele aktien sie euch um die ohren blasen mit diesen meldungen.

der kurs wird wieder fallen, weil es nichts handfestes ist. ein paar tage lang kann man die phantasie aufrecht halten mit solchen hup-und-bläh-meldungen, dann wollen die normaldenkenden investierten fakten sehen, die kommen aber nicht. für euch sicherlich nochmal die chance, mit einem blauen auge rauszukommen. ihr müsst es nur wollen. mal sehen, wie lange die wieder mit solchen meldungen den kurs oben halten können, nicht lange.

lucky, ich hoffe, du hast alles verkauft...sofern dein mischkurs von 0,20$ wirklich stimmte, was ich bezweifel, dafür bist du nämlich schon zulange dabei...  

 

auf solche warmduschermeldungen reinfallen, ist unglaublich. und sie werden noch ein paar luftmeldungen nachschieben. wahrscheinlich werden noch irgendwelche "größen" eingestellt werden. z.b der "kaiser von china" und "george w. bush" etc. mal sehen, wie lange die abzocke gutgeht. es ist wie mit dem streichholz. wer es zuletzt hält, verbrennt sich fürchterlich.

das hatte wir alles schonmal vor rund 2 jahren. damals wollte mir auch keiner glauben, dass es wieder weit weit runter geht. bei 1,50$ und 1,00$ wurde ich  ur verspottet, bis sich dann jetzt bei 0,13 - 0,14$ fast keiner mehr getraut hat zu melden. offiziell, weil man mit dem "psychophaten" nicht mehr reden wollte.

fragt sich bei dem kursverlauf nur, wer hier psychophatischer ist, ihr oder ich. eure 0,30$ sind immer noch weit unter dem kurs, den es nach dem RS gab...und as bei dem, was caly alles erreicht hat...

muhahahahahahahahh....  

bzw. umsätze und gewinne, nicht irgendwelche maulhelden, die sich nur noch mit dubiosen mod-geleitschutz vor die türe trauen.

schon gar nicht könne mich meldunge über neue versuche und tests und neue distributoren überzeugen, den blödsinn hatte wir in der vergangenheit schon oft, was hat es gebracht: die umsätze gingen stetig zurück. so werden auch eure q-3 zahlen noch schlechter sein, als die q-2er....  

"liebe moderatoren". solange ein prolet wie "rot-Grün" hier frei herumläuft und äußern kann, was er will, ohne geahndet oder gesoerrt zu werden, müsst ihr nicht denken, dass ich meine kritik auch nur für 2 cent ändere. im gegenteil, es untersteicht nur eure dubiosen bewertungskriterien, nicht wahr, reab???

ich bin seit ca. 3 Jahren in Calypte investiert, also kein Neuer mehr. Hab mich nur mal
angemeldet(paradoxerweise), weil mir Joelu auf den Sack ging und ich euch ein bischen den Rücken stärken wollte lol. Calypte ist aber ein kleines Nebeninvestment von mir
ca 10K (also überschaubar). Mein hauptinteresse liegt nach wie vor bei Morphosys

läuft doch geil das teil. denkt an vor 3 jahren als wir plötzlich bei 1.50$ waren *g*
bin immer noch nicht dabei, es fuxt mich schon.....
