On October 17, TEAM reported that during its fiscal first quarter, it saw revenue gain 36% year-over-year and added more than 7,000 new net customers.
“Atlassian’s low touch sales and marketing, viral product adoption, focus on R&D and product innovation, and highly profitable model sets them apart in a crowded field,” the top analyst commented. This prompted him to rate the stock a Buy along with $162 price target, which implies about 40% upside potential. .....

Atlassian: Strong Momentum Will Be Tough For Competitors To Catch
https://seekingalpha.com/article/...be-tough-for-competitors-to-catch
1.Continued strong revenue growth is key
One of the hallmarks of Atlassian's success has been its ability to continue its strong revenue growth, and investors will be expecting more of the same. In its fiscal Q1 (which ended Sept. 30), the company reported revenue of $363 million, up 36% year over year, while making easy work of management's guidance range, which topped out at $353 million. Even more importantly, subscription revenue continued its relentless climb, up 50% year over year, to $201 million.
Atlassian's management is forecasting another strong quarterly performance, expecting revenue in a range of $386 million and $390 million, which would represent 30% growth at the midpoint of its guidance. The company is likely being conservative with its forecast, especially considering its practice of exceeding its own guidance, only to raise its outlook for the full year -- exactly what it did last quarter.
2. Growing adjusted profits
For the first quarter, Atlassian delivered adjusted net income of $70 million, up 42% year over year, resulting in adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.28, a 40% increase compared to the prior-year quarter.
While its profits are still expected to climb, management is signaling slower growth for the current quarter. The company is guiding for adjusted EPS of about $0.27, an increase of about 8% year over year. Management is also forecasting its adjusted operating margin will edge down to 22% from 25% in the year-ago period....."

This company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.27 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +8%.
Revenues are expected to be $388.65 million, up 30% from the year-ago quarter.....
For the last reported quarter, it was expected that Atlassian Corporation PLC would post earnings of $0.24 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.28, delivering a surprise of +16.67%.
Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times....

The stock's move higher on Friday follows the company's fiscal second-quarter results on Thursday afternoon. The Street is likely happy with the report because both revenue and non-IFRS (adjusted) earnings per share came in significantly higher than analysts' average forecasts.
Atlassian's revenue in its second quarter of fiscal 2020 increased 37% year over year to $408.7 million. On average, analysts were expecting revenue of $388 million. The company's adjusted earnings per share were $0.37, up from $0.25 in the year-ago period and ahead of a consensus estimate of $0.27.

The company crushed Wall Street's expectations across the board, alongside a mixed slate of guidance targets. Atlassian's perpetual license sales rose 13% year over year to $29 million while maintenance fees increased by 20% to $117 million and subscription revenues landed at $229 million -- 50% above the year-ago period's reading. Like most software companies these days, Atlassian is leaning heavily into the subscription space while moving away from traditional single-payment license sales. Subscription revenues accounted for 56% of Atlassian's total second-quarter sales, up from 37% in the same period of 2019.
Operating margins stopped at 10.2%, up from just below breakeven a year ago......"
