Afghanistan's minister for air transport and tourism was reportedly attacked at Kabul airport by pilgrims who thought he had cancelled a flight that was set to take them to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. The reports said that Abdul Rahman died of his injuries. The Associated Press and Al-Jazeera reported that Abdul Rahman was set upon by pilgrims after rumors circulated that he had cancelled the flight to Saudi Arabia.
